| Forum Thread | UEFA 2024 tickets at 09:40 26 Oct 2023
Anybody with experience of attempting to get tickets for international tournaments? My girlfriend and I are thinking of flying to Munich in June, train to Frankfurt, train to Cologne and then fly back 10ish days later. If we get to see some football whilst we're there then great, if not then I figured it would just be good to be around those cities for the atmosphere anyway. We can also do the trip the other way around, so fly to Cologne and back from Munich. The ticket ballot applications close today so I'm applying for tickets for group games in Munich and Cologne and then if we get some, that will decide where and when we start the trip. You have to buy all or none of the tickets you get in the ballot so there is therefore a chance that I get allocated tickets I don't want but will have to buy. How easy is it going to be to sell tickets I don't want on the "Official Ticket Resale Platform"? Thanks in advance! |

Tickets not available for sale presumably... result of the FA Cup match Vs Newcastle last year? I was sat in the empty section last year. |

Sorry if it's been mentioned... Not sure if Morsy spoke too but did anyone else notice that it looked as though the primary motivational input during the pre-match huddle was Mr Keogh's? I thought that was interesting. |

What an utter shambles. Should be shocked at that but I'm not. |

I have a concern. I'm in the giving Lambert a chance camp but I don't think he has long at all. Putting a number of games on it isn't really a good idea because there are a number of factors that could mean he needs more or less games to show us that something has clicked, that we have an identity on the pitch, that the players are all pulling in the same direction and more importantly that we are in with a good shot of getting out of this league. My concern is that there won't be crowds. In the event that we look completely inept in the first 5, 6, 10 games, no (or reduced) crowds means that our tongues have been ripped out and communicating our displeasure at either the team or the manager's performance becomes very difficult indeed. Will this mean that, effectively, ME's intentions aside, Lambert has a free reign until voices can return to the stands? |

I seem to remember that last year there was a handy fixtures upload for iPhone for the Town games... I could be mistaken though. Is such a thing available again this year? |

Is there a TWTD FPL league this year? |
| Forum Thread | Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells... at 00:41 29 Nov 2017
Couple of important points I wanted to add are, firstly, how good it was to see the players work so hard for each other tonight and carry out Mick’s game plan. I read a couple of stupid comments after the Villa game suggesting he’d lost the dressing room... well those players tonight worked their nads off for the man. Second point was on the subs. What great faith to show in two youngsters to trust them enough to put them in to that scenario tonight when it was backs to the wall and he got it bang on. Put some young legs on who will give 100%. Well done Mick and the team tonight. |

| Forum Thread | Oil Vs LPG heating at 13:59 24 May 2017
Any heating experts in? Mid-terraced Victorian house which is using oil currently for heating and hot water. 30 year old boiler has finally given up the ghost and the plumber is suggesting we convert to LPG. We don't meet the criteria for a tank, so we'd be on a "cross over"system involving 4 x 47kg cylinders which are replaced as and when they run out. We use about 1,500 litres of oil a year which costs us (based on current prices) about £530/year. The boiler is probably rather inefficient due to its age. It would obviously be beneficial to have a cheaper, indoor, boiler compared to having an external oil boiler and we'd be able to get rid of the tank...but what sort of costs should I expect with this new LPG set up? |
