According to BBC premier League gossip Chelsea have agreed terms with Michael Olise, as he plays either as a winger or an AM does this push Omari further down the starting list and therefore makes it more likely Chelsea will accept a lower bid?
Due to an Achilles issue I am on crutches, I therefore need to park as close to the ground as possible on Saturday as I can’t walk / hobble far. My season ticket is in the West stand and normally I park Crown Pools and walk but that’s not an option Saturday. I recall there being a multi storey on Constantine Road, is that open match days and what sort of time realistically would I need to get there to ensure a spot? Alternatively what sort of time would I need to be at the Portman Rd car parks?
My Brother in Law is looking to move into the area and is viewing rental flats in Ipswich. He’s found one between Stoke High school and Belstead road. I don’t know the area well enough so was wondering what others thought of the area.
Any input would be useful as he’s looking to view today
My 11yr old has Christmas money to spend and has his eyes set on a Nintendo switch. I’ve done the usual trawling of Facebook market place but we either get ignored when we ask if available or the adverts are clearly scams, and I am concerned about buying without viewing so eBay doesn’t work As his budget is limited I think maybe a pawn brokers or gaming shop selling used may be his best bet, apart from CEX or cash converters are there any others in Ipswich someone would recommend for this type of thing?
We’ve won the last 3, we’re playing some of the best football we’ve played for years, we’re undefeated at home this season, we have one of the most talented young managers in the country and still I’m nervous about tomorrows game! Bonkers really!
I’ve heard repeatedly both in person and on here just how crap Ipswich is as a place.
Possibly an unpopular opinion but I disagree. Having come into the area from a small nothing town in Cambridgeshire I really appreciate all that the town offers, from the array of shops (could always be more of course) to the stunning parks - Christchurch is a gem in the towns crown, to the waterside and all bars / restaurants for both my generation and the younger generation. You have lovely areas down St Peter’s and St Nicholas street with independent shops, bars and restaurants, many other park areas and some great pubs. Plus the mighty Portman Rd.
I get some areas are better than others and a lot have their issues but for me Ipswich is a great town and has a lot going for it.
What annoys me a little is some of the people that tell me Ipswich is S**t don’t even go there or have never lived elsewhere.
I’m a season ticket holder. My son is 11 and I want to take him to a couple of away games. Cambridge away as it’s his birthday day before and also Peterborough.
What’s the recommendation on getting tickets, Cambridge especially as it’s tied to his birthday, should i fork out for a gold card (though that states only 1 guaranteed away ticket) or is there another way?
Genuinely can’t make up mind if should risk the 1329 from Stow to Ipswich train on Saturday. Can do a bus or even drive but my young lad loves the whole travel to town, walk past the away fans singing at the station hotel then into the fan zone for an hour before kick off. I of course like all that plus fact I can have a pint or 2 during game and not have to drive etc. not done bus before, looks simple enough though 3 times the durations

The football that has mostly been played by us this season (even under Cook) has been head and shoulders above anything we’ve had to sit through in the last few years. I appreciate its not been a great season overall and not every match has been great but for the most part it’s been a lot more enjoyable to watch and the atmosphere has been better than we’ve had for a good few years.
Is the old Legends bar (Now Kevin Beatie) still open after a game? My train back is not until 1739 so I figured with all the extra fans likely at the station it may be better to have a pint there then take a slow plod up instead of hanging around at the station
Just looking at form table, Shef Weds and Bolton going like a train. Wednesday won last 4 and Bolton 4 out of 5. Plymouth won last 3 in 6th.
It’s not inconceivable that Sunderland and Wycombe (Current form for both pretty poor) drop out leaving us, Wednesday and Bolton fighting out for 5th and 6th…

Due to a family gathering I can’t make the 1st half of the Gillingham home game but i am dropping a relative off at Ipswich station for a train leaving 1550. I have a season ticket, anyone know if I can get in to the game for the second half and if there’s a special gate I have to go to? Wasn’t sure if there was a rule about all attendees have to arrive prior to first whistle or something similar
Anyone used a local third party company to fit a towbar? I’ve googled and there seems to be a few national brands do it but anyone recommend a decent local company?
New manager, new ideas. Does he change captain or stay with Morsy for rest of season? Morsy has been good on the pitch in patches but by his own admission didn’t want to come here and I feel he is a Cook man. Edmundson would get my vote for captain, question is do it straight away to really show intent or wait till next season?
Anyone recommend a decent employment law solicitor? Due to company sale I’ve just found out I’m being made redundant mid Jan. They’ve offered me a settlement package which I need to get checked and they’ve offered to pay limited legal fees as well.
