Guess it depends on what your definition of costing a fortune is, I come in from the west and use Crown Pools car park, it’s fairly easy to escape from there out past Christchurch park after the game and parking for 4 hours is around £6 which I see as reasonable |

I think Morsy success next season will be very dependant on his midfield partner and whether he has someone to share the gritty side of the game with, he will have a little more time and space in the EFL so won’t get so easily caught out. As far as captain material I’d say it is integral we keep O’Shea. I watch him most games and he is a leader on the pitch, always giving guidance / instruction to those around him. Plus he is the best central defender we have at the club, the amount of blocks, headers and tackles he gets in every game is immense. |

Weather dependant but for a low / zero cost couple of hours it’s worth tubing to London Bridge, go through Hays Glleria and then walk the south bank of the Thames past HMS Belfast and the lord mayors office to Tower Bridge, by tower bridge there are little cobble streets to explore. You can then cross back over the Thames on Tower bridge to the Tower of London and head into town from there. Good couple of hours and if you have a thirst pop in to the Horniman pub at Hays Galleria which granted not been for a few years but always used to be worth a visit. |

The Gladstone Arms typically carries a couple of their beers, pintle as a session ale and one or two as cask if you fancy trying as a pint rather than by can. I agree with all on here, they produce some stunning beers. |
 | Forum Reply | Finding fully remote work at 17:56 7 Nov 2024
As others have said industry makes a big difference on remote work availability, as does role type too. I’ve been in the tech sector for my whole career and have been remote working for 20 years+ now. In terms of firing off your cv to recruiters, it is important to network but be mindful most people recruiting for specific roles are looking for cvs that have skills that reflect relevance to the role they have open and there are specialist industry specific recruiters also. I’d suggest you consider analysing the actual skills you have accumulated and then consider how they may transfer to other industries or roles, for instance someone that has worked in hospitality or retail likely have developed good customer skills that may lend to working in events or customer services as an example. I have a fair amount of experience hiring and managing remote teams and whilst I haven’t got anything open in my company I’d be happy to take a look at your cv and chat through what you’re looking for and how to structure your cv if that helps. |

Was gonna say BBC Suffolk but note you’re not in county. 5 live did a pretty good job yesterday of keeping updated on majority of games. They covered the Brum v Fulham game as main feature but spent a decent chunk going round the grounds for updates. Unclear if we are the spotlight game but if not you should still get a decent amount of updates. |

I developed this exact same thing which was really painful as I need to travel a lot for work (3 or 4 flights a month) I got vertigo on take off and occasionally once up in the air, I got past it by downloading a playlist of songs I loved or that calmed me and I always wear headphones on take off now and at times of turbulence. I find the distraction of having music in my ears really helps. |
 | Forum Thread | Omari, just pondering at 10:12 16 Jun 2024
According to BBC premier League gossip Chelsea have agreed terms with Michael Olise, as he plays either as a winger or an AM does this push Omari further down the starting list and therefore makes it more likely Chelsea will accept a lower bid? |

Dependant on weather and your kids ages then I'd say Christchurch Park is a great way to spend a few hours, let kids play on park, have a walk. pop into the Greyhound for a pint and a bag of crisps for the little ones afterwards. A pretty good few hours spent! |

Pin Mill for me, always feel like time has stopped when I wander along the Orwell with the dogs, followed by a couple of pints at the Butt & Oyster. Perfect few hours spent [Post edited 9 Apr 2024 7:39]

Norwich win to accelerate Leicesters downward trajectory and massively benefit us. At same time Norwich pick up injuries to a few key players like Sargeant, Sara and Rowe which totally derails the rest of their season and they slip back to 10th and confirm their status as irrelevant. |

Sensible non Gatwick parking advice needed. Due to an Achilles issue I am on crutches, I therefore need to park as close to the ground as possible on Saturday as I can’t walk / hobble far. My season ticket is in the West stand and normally I park Crown Pools and walk but that’s not an option Saturday. I recall there being a multi storey on Constantine Road, is that open match days and what sort of time realistically would I need to get there to ensure a spot? Alternatively what sort of time would I need to be at the Portman Rd car parks? |

Averaging 2 points per game after 30 games. Would have taken that all day long at start of season! My lad was so disappointed he didn’t see a Hutchinson backflip yesterday, I pointed out he didn't do it as he and the team felt there was still enough time to win the game and rushed back to get kick off done. Winning mentality to the end! Loving it! |

Anywhere around the Mid town area will give you most options both hotel wise and things to see. If you’re looking for a reasonable priced ok hotel chain look up Club Quarters, they have a number of hotels around time square and central station areas. I use them frequently pre Covid when travelling for work. Also be mindful when setting expectations of the hotel that real estate in Manhattan is expensive so a lot of hotel rooms are very small and don’t compare well in the size of room to cost ratios. Guess it all depends if you intend to spend any real time at the hotel or will be out seeing all the sights. |
