Season Ticket Cards to Be Sent This Week
at 21:26:13

Nomore4 - new cards for everyone, as per usual.
1. The shirt is no longer made by adidas so this needs to change as their logo is on the card.

2 - pretty sure we have new technology in the turnstiles now which eradicates the need for people to man them. Likely that the new cards will have had to be calibrated to allow entry via this system.

3 - remember the good old days of a season book.

Aluko: We Can Handle Expectation
at 19:41:51

@ButchersBrokenNose - Derby will be lucky not to get relegated at this rate, they will be similar to Bolton a few years ago getting spanked most weeks, it's a shame we don't play them early on. I agree though that it won't be easy, although we know that now!! Shef Weds are the ones making the big transfer moves and putting a big target on their head. Maybe it's our season to sneak under the radar a bit, where the occasion of playing ITFC has become normalised for regular L1 clubs and so we can just get on with it! We will have to overcome the rubbish time wasting antics of many clubs though and we need a plan to beat them if we are to be successful..let's believe our good times are just around the corner 🔵⚪️

Great story, thank you. There must be so many quirky tales to tell from the long history of ITFC, really enjoyed this read.

Sunderland and Charlton Allocations Sell Out
at 20:05:48

@Allezlesbleus I'm pretty sure we have completely filled up the away section at Charlton, it's just over 3k which is what we have sold. There literally isn't any more room for further away fans, I see Charlton's crowds hover around the 14k mark (small time club who used to pinch our best players!) which leaves plenty of empty seats in the home stands though ;) we've all had to put up with a Leeds/West Ham fan sat around us at PR when we've played them let's be honest. I know it's not the same though.
Sunderland I can only imagine will be a stewarding/police restraint which is in place, they probably have to pre set a cap on how many officers they will need etc and aren't expecting many clubs to bring more than 2k, hence the cap. It will be something along those frivolous lines!

Town Praise Fans' Response to #PackOutPR Promotion
at 19:45:22

I think it's a great idea, I'd be happy to donate in the off season knowing it's bringing more money in and potentially widening the fan base. I put enough extra pennies across the palm of Evans over 12 odd years so I'm more than happy to throw some money towards bolstering the new regime. I can't remember a more exciting time to be a town fan! The promise of improvements at PR and the fact that we will be a force in the transfer window is amazing! We have all deserved this after the last decade or so that's for sure.

Town Survey Fans on Tannoy

Anyone else not exactly buzzing about the new stadium announcer bloke either??…for me he sounded like he was commentating on a village fete, that's the vibe I got - no disrespect but he doesn't sound like the type to get people off their seats and almost falls too comfortable into the position of ‘Ipswich stadium announcer' people sitting on their hands, we need an energetic exciting and up to speed announcer to bring the youngsters on board IMO.

Town Target Rangers Defender Edmundson
at 21:29:09

Putting money on that are you @chocco?? Sacked by Christmas! What a melt! We certainly don't need negativity from the likes of you poisoning the good vibes at the club currently. Paul Cook is doing a job that most would run away from, a complete restructure of the playing staff, it's clearly ballsy but also clearly completely necessary, the whole club needed ripping apart. If youngsters leave then so be it, the odd one may make it, most won't. But if you think attempting to keep young players at the club by pushing their development above and beyond what they are capable of while also expecting these inexperienced boys to somehow drag us out of League 1 then you are dreaming. Besides he played young Humphreys against Palace..Shouldn't that resonate with the youngsters and show that if they are good enough they will get a chance at ITFC. Why not trust PC and give him some backing instead of spaffing negative commemts.

Blues Host Palace as Fans Return

Agree with blue army_81 - Toto just doesn't offer enough to be a 1st choice CB, he's got a handful of errors in him per game, distribution side of his game is very poor. He's a decent back up at best but I'm a little concerned PC is seeing a different side in training and somehow rates him as a starter. We need a decent CB as a must and the sooner the better. I like the character he brings but we need more quality.

Not sure why anyone could have anything other than good things to say/think regarding this, finally some love being shown to our beloved PR after years of neglect..rejoice!! Those that find a problem with it are seemingly bereft of any positivity and likely the sort of soul we would rather stay away.
