 | Forum Thread | First Town Player to Down Tools at 07:04 3 Aug 2025
Assuming it's true, is Omari the first Town player ever to down tools and force a move? It's quite a recent tactic by elite players and their agents, so I doubt it's happened to us before given we'd been out the top flight for so long. Another reason to hate modern football. SBR would turn in his grave. |

I don't think we sold out for many matches that season. Pretty sure there were always RV seats available. |
 | Forum Thread | Attendances Next Season at 18:09 24 Jul 2025
I reckon Gamechanger and MA have overestimated the demand for tickets next season, especially Grade B fixtures that are moved for TV. Yes GC have successfully rebuilt our football club, but historically when have we ever sold out in the Championship (apart from 'big' matches)? Ignoring concessions, prices for Grade B fixtures range from £34 to £55. Assuming there are approx. 20,000 ST holders, I don't think we'll sell 8,000 odd match tickets at those prices. |

Very hard for a player like Omari to shine in a struggling team. Showed flashes of brilliance for us last season, but nothing like how he played for the U21s this summer. |

Also means a match day ticket for home supporters in blocks C and VU3 will be £43. Maybe a slight reduction for members. |
 | Forum Thread | Is Everyone Fit? at 10:28 18 Jul 2025
Apart from Wes who is obviously still recovering from his ACL injury, is everyone fit and training in Austria? Harry Clarke, Jaden and Chieo all appear to have recovered following their operations/injuries. |

Assume the £5.99 TownTV subscription option will be removed. Cheaper to buy a membership! |
 | Forum Thread | Delap & PSR at 11:06 27 May 2025
Obviously from a footballing perspective, it will be good if Delap's future is sorted asap. But from a PSR perspective, does anyone know if it's better that he signs for Chelsea before or after 30th June? For all the negative comments about how much we've spent, I guess it's actually possible that (excl. money spent on infrastructure) we make a PSR profit in 2024/25 if Delap leaves in June. |
 | Forum Thread | £3M match against Leicester at 17:29 12 May 2025
£3M is loose change to established PL clubs, but for us it's still a significant amount of money needed to help us comply with FFP next season. Let's hope we can get at least a draw against Leicester. |

They aren't interested if you've currently got Sky Q, as they want to move everyone onto Sky Steam or Sky Glass. I've just been through the cancellation process and returned their equipment. Only offered me about £8 off the full price and didn't contact me during the 31 day notice period either. |

Health & Safety must have been almost non-existent in the 80s. The Bradford and Kings Cross fires, Hillsborough and Zeebrugge Ferry disaster should never have been allowed to happen. |

That was Brighton. They were left homeless and playing at Gillingham from 97-99, before returning to play at the athletics stadium for 12 years. |
 | Forum Reply | Been told that at 11:51 9 May 2025
There are different points of view to this. On the face of it, I agree there should be a limit to the number of times a ST holder can put their seat up for sale on the resale site. But supporters can't be expected to keep every Friday night, Sat lunchtime, Sat evening, Sunday and Monday night free for when games are moved for TV. This argument doesn't apply tomorrow of course. |
 | Forum Reply | Been told that at 09:59 9 May 2025
Each to their own of course. But I don't understand why a local Town fan with no significant travel costs would choose not to go tomorrow, especially if their ST doesn't sell on the resale site. Obviously life happens, but if the alternative is to sit at home and just not bother going - I don't get it. |
 | Forum Reply | Is the Leicester game our most valuable of the season? at 13:58 5 May 2025
An extra £3M to finish above Leicester isn't to be sniffed at. To put that into context, non-parachute clubs in the Championship will only receive approx. £11M in broadcasting fees this season. That £3M could be used to pay for a top class loan signing next season. |
 | Forum Thread | Muric - Persevere or Not at 12:26 5 May 2025
I don't want to start another Muric bashing thread, but I'm curious as to whether we think the club will persevere with him a while longer. Personally I think we might, for a few reasons: --he clearly has a high ceiling if we can resolve the concentration issue --he's currently injured, so don't know if another club would sign him this summer --I'm not sure if interested clubs in Europe would be able to afford his wages Having said all that, I guess a loan with an option to buy may suit all parties. Surely he has way too much potential to have his contract mutually terminated. |
 | Forum Reply | Is there an advantage or disadvantage still playing 3 weeks later? at 06:10 4 May 2025
Depends on injuries. Finish the season injury free, then 5 weeks off to recharge mentally and physically is perfect IMO. But if a player misses a chunk of pre-season because they haven't had time to recover from a summer operation or niggling injury, then this impacts their fitness the following season. Look at what happened to Broady this season. I really hope Ogbene, Philogene and Szmodics are ready to start pre-season training at the end of June/beginning of July. 2025/26 is going to be tough for Wes. |

Watched on TV at home and didn't sit down for the whole game - just paced around the lounge and watched the clock slowly ticking towards 90 mins. Horrendous! |

I agree that refurbishing the toilets should be a priority. In the grand scheme of things, it can't cost that much to provide modern toilet facilities. |
