i defer to your expertise, I only have a vague understanding as my company's sister company supplies some parts to a couple of the big manufacturers. isotope or not i do know either way brexit isn't going to help anyone when it comes to stuff like this!

he was on the BBC history podcast last week promoting it. it was a very interesting listen if you have time. It is pretty incredible what they managed to achieve/got away with! The parallels with the power of today's corporations is interesting too

How the bloody hell are memories stored in our heads?
at 10:50 8 Oct 2019

you are right. From what i understand some of the more scientific minded catholic cardinals and even the pope at the time were interested in and approved of the theory. it was the more fundamental wing of the church, in particular the Dominicans who tried to challenge suppress it

copernicus was controversial at his time because of his heliocentric model of the universe rather than that he thought the earth was round. just saying

these are the same fans that booed Aaron Ramsey when he was being stretchered off after daring to have his leg broken by one of their thug players

What's the worst you've fecked up on an email?
at 11:08 20 Sep 2019

yep, around the time GDPR came in I had an email from a company explaining how they were going to be compliant with GDPR but had done the CC/BCC thing too. it was followed 5 minutes later by another email, apologising for the error and how they would have to report it as a breach of GDPR

Kevin Lisbie at 600K wasn't great business either. Overall Jim was a bit of mixed bag when it came to signings imo.

Foods you don't like that everyone else seems to...

1. Baked Beans - taste, texture, basically everything about them
2. Avocado, its just slimy tasteless mush in any form other than a properly seasoned and spiced guacamole

i really don't get anyone who looks at our centre back options and thinks "lets get as many of them on pitch at the same time as we can".

i agree with you, lambert needs to decide on his best defence and then stick with it until it becomes a cohesive unit

it was big money at the time. We sold him four years ago, transfer fees have inflated massively since then, you only have to look at his fee this summer after half a good season in the championship to see how true that is
