Bullard Launches Hull Appeal
at 12:13:35

This is only an appeal that's heard by the club chairman Assem Allam, to ask if he'll reconsider his sacking and reinstate him, it's not a court, it has no powers to award any loss of earnings or decide if anything was unfair. If he wants to challenge things further it will be through the courts, not through a PFA meeting with our club chairman.

That's not entirely true TractorMan, this appeal is with a view to getting his sacking overturned and having him reinstated, which is obviously not going to happen now he's playing for you.

If he wants to take action for loss of earnings on the grounds of him not breaching his contract in the first place, then he'll have to do it through the High Court, not through an employment tribunal.

I think the club have enough dirt on him to not have to pay him anything at all, but the sooner the thing is concluded, the better for everyone.

Sonko On Trial
at 15:21:04

It's been suggested on our board this morning that Sonko is actually the Senegalese word for donkey.....

If you think he's an improvement on Delaney, then your in for shock, as someone who's had both in their team, I'd say Delaney is ten times as good.

Sonko was a disaster for us, a complete shambles, I wouldn't have him back if he offered to pay us to let him play for our reserves.

Sonko Reveals Possible Town Move

He wants over £25k a week, as it's what he got at Stoke.

He's is utterly pants, I wouldn't pay him £25 a week.

Jewell: Bullard Deal Just Can\'t Be Done
at 20:10:47

Your post is bang on, you've read the situation very well.

As far as I'm concerned, if his daft current contract is ignored, then a £2m fee and £20k a week wage would be about right for a player of his ability. If anyone wants to give us £2m, then we'll give it to him to make sure he agrees the £20k a week. If anyone wants him on a free, then they can take on the £45k, as it amounts to the same thing.

If no-one wants to pay his wage, or a fee, then he can play for us, as our new owners are worth £300m and have already said they have no intention of paying for him to play for other club(at least not a significant amount).

Personally, I think he'll end up at QPR, but we'll see.

Is this a good time to pop back on and say 'I told you so'?

Jimmy just tells everyone what he thinks they want to hear, he's as thick as two short planks. There's no doubting his ability, but he was never going to take a pay-cut and whoever he eventually ends up playing for next season, you can guarantee he'll say it's where he always wanted to be.

Hull: We\'ve Had No Bullard Enquiries
at 22:23:09

If Adam Pearson says specifically 'we have had no enquiries about Jimmy', then we have had no enquiries and equally when he says he didn't take a pay cut, then he didn't.

There are suggestions that none of us really know the people involved and therefore can't say who can be trusted in all this, but that's not entirely true. I know Adam Pearson, I've also been out several times with Jimmy, both when he was living here and also out at his place in Vale do Lobo. Adam is as honest as the day is long and would not make a straight forward 'it didn't happen' statement unless it was 100% true.

Jimmy is a good laugh on a night out and he's definitely a decent footballer, but frankly, he's as thick as pigsh1t. He'd tell anyone anything he thought they wanted to hear, he just likes to be popular. He won't take a pay cut, at least not unless there's a big pay-off to make up the wage shortfall.

Our owners are very wealthy, this is not about what the club can afford, it's about removing a millstone from around our necks and putting the whole sorry saga behind us as painlessly as possible.

The appearance wage increase was £3k a week, he obviously doesn't get a £20k a week pay rise, that would be utterly ridiculous.

You're currently paying him £20k and we're making up the other £25k.

If Adam Pearson says we've had no enquiries, than you can be certain we've received no enquiries, he's as straight as a die. The same is true regarding the wages, he obviously hasn't taken a pay-cut at all, though as mentioned above, he probably has waived any appearance/goal bonuses.

If you lads want him, you're going to need to make an approach at some point and if you've able to pay £2.3m for Billy Sharp, then you could also make a similar offer for Jimmy, which we would then use to pay him off, leaving you to agree a more realistic wage.

Bullard Took Pay Cut to Join Town - And Would Do So Again
at 13:46:41

He knocked a few grand off his wages, you're still paying him £20k a week and so are we, if Jimmy expects us to do the same next season he's bonkers.

Actually, he is bonkers.

Anyway, the balls in your court Jimmy, you can leave with no fee, just agree whatever terms you want with Ipswich and you leave with our blessing. But, if you want us to pay you £1m a year to play elsewhere, then you'll have to expect City to try and find you a new home.

Our owners have said they won't repeat this deal next season, so it's time to put up or shut up Jimmy.

Bullard: Best Decision of My Career
at 10:51:02

Morning gents, Hull fan browsing.

Just thought you should know that Adam Pearson(Director of Football Operations) stated at the weekend that no approach had been made by Ipswich with regard to Jimmy Bullard(or by any other club for that matter), so this article is slightly wide of the mark.

In addition, our new owner has stated that he has no intention of paying the wages of a player who's playing for another club, so it looks like another season with a subsidised loan is highly unlikely.

We don't expect to ever see him play for us again, but for that to happen, we really need a Premier League club to come in for him, with QPR looking the most likely. He would certainly be available on a free, to compensate for the daft wages he's on(wages he won't reduce, whatever he says), or he may even get a bit of a pay-off to make a deal happen, but I'd suggest that you getting him for season, while only paying half his wages, simply won't happen.
