Honestly believe this team is ready to compete in the Championship. Building fantastic partnerships and everyone knows everyone else's game. Can't wait to see the progression. What an away support tonight too! COYB's |

With two wins and two draws currently needed to guarantee promotion, regardless of others results...I think the next two games are the draws...But as Keegan once famously said "I'd love it if we beat them" tomorrow! |

We will drop points soon, it's inevitable. Just hope Town fans don't react like Wednesday fans, calling for the Manager to be sacked after an amazing run of results after a couple of defeats. Nothing as fickle as a football fan. |

Not good seeing Morsy appearing to argue with fans at the end. They've travelled on a 8 hours round trip to watch a 0-0 draw. I think he should be apologising to them ! |

@HopefulBlue69 I really don't think it would be acceptable for the Manager and players to start focusing on the Play Offs and give up on the top two places with 16 games to go. I also enjoyed the Play Off final at Wembley with you. That season we missed out on automatic promotion by two points. Imagine if Burley advised the players not to keep pushing for a top two finish Mid February, in order for them not to feel too disappointed if they missed out. Maybe the fact we missed out on the last game that season inspired the fantastic response against Bolton and Barnsley in those play offs... |
| News Comment | Ipswich Town 0-1 Sheffield Wednesday - Match Report at 19:40:08
Minus £16 million for investment in players is unacceptable. Clearly we are a club happy to sell our best players and with that has resulted in weakening the squad and inevitable relegation. League 1 will only result in less funds and presumably more key players being sold. The downward spiral that Evans has orchestrated is heartbreaking. Very sad times. |
| News Comment | Exeter City 1-1 Ipswich Town (4-2 on pens) - Match Report at 22:47:07
Just watched Hurst's post match interview. Although he gave an honest opinion that the players did not give him 100% and described how embarrassed he is about the display, he seems completely at a loss with what to do about it after just 3 games which is alarming. Desperately want him to succeed not only as an Ipswich supporter but because he seems a genuine person who wants to please and entertain the fans. Let's hope he can get the players to rally for the Villa game, but as he said himself a repeat performance and we will get battered. He has handed a lot of lower league players a chance to play at a higher level, the least they can do to rest him is give it everything on Saturday. |

Garv - I don't think he's saying 8th best defense is an achievement as such, more that the reason we are where we are in the league is more to do with goalscoring - only 3 teams have scored less than us. Hence the desperation to replace Murphy. |
| News Comment | McCarthy: Newcastle Trip Totally Different to Tuesday at 07:43:41
I'd take a 0-0 and happily sit through 100 plus posts on Saturday night about how boring our 'Dinosaur' manager was. Defensively we have proved tough to score against in the last six games. Let's hope Bart and co frustrate Newcastle and their supporters tomorrow. COYB's. |

Runaround - fantastic for you, 1000 games. Can't say I've counted but I'll be there Saturday too. It still hurts to think we could be 3rd tonight but for a few wrong decisions v Wolves and Norwich. However plenty of time to put that right plus big players to come back from injury. Great result tonight COYB's |
