Absolutely cannot wait until tomorrow!

A positive one from me!

I'm off to Portman Road for the first time post-covid tomorrow and I'm so, so excited.

Fighting a bit of a personal demon of mine and I'm coming solo (normally the thought of doing something like this (travel / big event) by myself gives me a huge amount of fear and anxiety).

I'll be getting into Ipswich around 6 from Stratford (aiming for the 5:07 train from there).

I'm in Block 4 SBR Lower seat 45.

If anyone is on the same train or sat near me in the ground please do give me a shout! Would love to meet any fellow TWTDers.

Likewise if there's any good pubs to head to pre-match to meet anyone I'd love any suggestions as I'm not from the area.

Cheers and see you tomorrow!!

Engli up front Friday?
at 14:02 10 Sep 2025

I have a feeling it's Azón we'll be seeing lead the line on Friday. Egeli - if he plays at all - will come off the bench for 15 / 20 mins at RW I reckon.

Yep! I always (well atleast the last 7 / 8 FMs) do a similar save.

My most fun one was defo the Slovenian league. Built Olimpija Ljubljana up to be one of the best teams in the world and it was fun watching the trickle down effect of my state of the art youth system before switching to a few different teams to build them up in the same way. Once the league has money flowing through it thanks to higher European coefficients it gets super interesting doesn't it?

can't wait for it! feels really weird not having FM25, and ofcourse it happened the one year we were in the Prem...

That said, graphics / atmosphere mean zero to me as I exclusively play it muted and in 2D

We're they hoping to loose a RB?
at 18:14 2 Sep 2025

As soon as we signed Furlong I wondered if the long-term plan was to convert either BJ or Harry Clarke into that defensive CM role as cover for Matusiwa.

I know Ben Johnson has played that role to an extent prior to us, and I'm sure there were some rumblings in pre-season that Harry Clarke might make that conversion.

I could be way off the mark though!

Woolfie for £4m
at 12:18 1 Sep 2025

been trying to be positive with these outgoings this season, trying to keep my sentimentality out of it. That being said, this one really, really hurts.

I know McKenna knows better than me but I can't shake the opinion that we always looked more calm and collected when Woolf played.

Hurts even more that Coventry are my Dad's team!

Maybe this is wishful thinking as I really don't want to lose Woolfy, but maybe a suggestion we'll pivot to a back 3?

I'm simultaneously distraught that he's leaving and also incredibly impressed and delighted at the deal we've got for him

Yep, you're bang on here. Really surprised at how often people lament our links with strikers with 'bad scoring stats'.

Our system has always been primed for the players behind the striker to feed off of and score goals, rather than the striker himself score the goals.

Yes, obviously you still want the striker to reach double digits, but more of our goals will come from the Clarkes, Szmodiczs, Chaplins, and Philogenes of the world

Offer in for Jens Cajuste
at 09:34 1 Aug 2025

To be fair, I'm not saying this is the case - but if the offer to Napoli has switched from an optional clause to a mandatory one, that does change the offer for Jens because it offers him longer term stability if he knows he'd be staying beyond the loan period

crazy that he was 16/17 in these clips too...

Must've grown in that time as Transfermarkt now has him down as 6'1

Wherever he ends up he definitely looks like a hell of a talent

crazy to me how many people are concerned with Azor's height - Morsy is smaller and don't think I ever heard any concerns!

No Boniface or Mendel-Idowu either - reckon it's the same for them? I see neither of them were at Leiston, not sure about the Slovakian game
