Just arrived at a Gite in France for a weeks holiday with some friends, one of them has brought a few loaves of kingsmill and a block of Tesco own brand mild cheddar.
I think I might just head back to Calais now. |

Not super touristy but have you visited the area around Lloyds of London?
Leadenhall Market, St Dunstan in the East and The Garden at 120 are all quite interesting.
St Michael's Church on Cornhill, which was in Slow Horses, is also pretty cool.
Pub wise The Ship on Talbot Court and The Old Tea Warehouse have got some history to them. |

I lost my front teeth taking a stick to the face despite wearing a mouth guard.
One of the best players I've shared a pitch with took a drag flick to the face which broke his jaw and pushed the bottom row of teeth inwards, the doctors weren't really sure what to do with him when I dropped him off at A&E. |

Urgh... I hate those face masks, I'd almost rather a trip to the dentist!
I've seen some of our lower standard teams try and play an aerial and put the ball straight in to the car park, which is why I quite often walk to hockey 😂 |

Comfortably the worst player in the worst Sunday league team in my part of Suffolk as a teen/early twenty.
I did play hockey at a decent standard though but nothing compared to my wife who was a squad player in a team containing eight GB internationals.
