 | Forum Thread | Delap, Omari and player trading. at 08:47 26 Jun 2025
I was sadder than I expected when Delap left, and if we lose Omari that will obviously be worse. But I guess this is the reality now of building the club and is somewhat reminiscent of the late 90s. Much that I love Omari, nothing cuts as deep as when they come through your ranks like Wright, Bramble, Dyer and Ambrose. |

Loved the first one, the second was better (aren't they always?) and the third was pretty rubbish but I get why they chose to make it. It's a boxset I shall return to time and time again and I'm so grateful they made it. |
 | Forum Thread | Anyone up for a Vardy-like celebration on Sunday for Evans? at 20:51 19 May 2025
Tifos at each end of the ground, 25,000 flags, pre-match presentations, guard of honour and post-match rally? It'll take some organising, but I work from home on Fridays and can probably help with the colouring in. |
 | Forum Thread | I might be swimming against the (hysterical) tide a bit here... at 09:25 19 May 2025
...but I quite enjoyed a lot of how we played yesterday. Maybe my expectations have taken a kicking in the last few months but it was just nice to see us starting to play a bit more like we have done over the last couple of years - creating chances and building pressure. There are loads of caveats to that of course, not least the result, but when you bear in mind how much more PL experience that Leicester team has got and all the players we've got to add when they recover from injuries then I'm not remotely concerned about playing them again next season. Automatic promotion should of course be the target, top 6 the expectation. About time we had a trip to Wembley... |
 | Forum Thread | VAR is literally useless at 17:10 17 May 2025
Handball outside the area, can’t intervene because they don’t think it’s a red Defender plays balls in penalty area, can’t intervene because it’s not a big enough mistake So both decisions stay with the on field decision. Just bin it. |

He'd be on my list for next season. 32 years old, offer him 3 years. |
 | Forum Thread | Aside of the really obvious errors, VAR is just as random as refereeing. at 20:51 5 May 2025
The whole thing must be costing tens of millions but it's just not made anything better. If anything, it's getting worse as everyone is losing their mind over what is and isn't a clear and obvious error. With simulation now basically a professional skill, mastered at the highest level by the best players, we're wasting millions asking referees to have degrees in physics to work out whether contact is sufficient to cause an action. Bin it. It costs a fortune and we're no better off. |

Two observations: 1) Could hear the Town fans throughout - really good. 2) I didn't find Chris Sutton anywhere near as annoying as I thought I would |

...but the White House press conferences/briefings are pure comedy gold. There's no way that political satires would have gone this far - they'd have been accused of being ridiculous. I think my favourite is the props. They love a prop. |
 | Forum Thread | Another pet peeve at 19:32 20 Apr 2025
I know you didn't even ask for the first one, but... Why do pundits etc spend all pre-match saying how they expect Arsenal to be a lot better than us and then pretend to be surprised during the game when Arsenal are a lot better than us? |
 | Forum Thread | Pet peeve at 19:28 20 Apr 2025
This is a pointless post, but I *have* to get this off my chest. Apparently we're basically down because of the goal difference. Nonsense. In the (incredibly) unlikely event that we win 4 straight games and West Ham lose 4 straight games then the goal difference swing will probably mean that if we beat them well on the final day we will stay up on goal difference. It's obviously irrelevant, but it annoys me when people forget how maths works. |

When Ralf Little brings Sheridan Smith home and she's a vegetarian, and they don't know what to feed her. So Nana says "can she have wafer thin ham?"... ...that's what it's been like on here this afternoon talking about Delap. |
 | Forum Thread | Your worst ITFC take at 11:09 2 Apr 2025
As if often the case when you're losing every week, everyone has their own take on the situation. But what's the worst ITFC take you're willing to admit to? I'll go first: I thought Darren Ambrose would get 100 caps for England. |
