Football manager and Fifa is different to real life... I love the town like pretty much everyone here, but to us it's like if you were to work at Tescos, and then get offered the same role at Sainsburys for a bit of a bump up in pay with a good chance of getting 100x your current pay in a years time, but you have also heard on the grapevine that Waitrose and M&S are possibly interested and they'll offer you 100x your current wage this year.. You'd bide your time I'd think.. Like most people, it's just a job to most of these guys, that's not to say they don't enjoy their time with the club when here and they finish.. like some regular workers do when they spend years and years somewhere.. |

Still think it looks like we need a midfielder alongside Matsiwa...whoever that may be I have no idea... perhaps someone more box to box/playmaker maybe as Matsiwa is defensive..? Cajuste back here would be ideal... Looking forward to seeing szmods this season.. |

Good luck Mass! See you back at PR. Give you an ovation when you're back here, but hope we smash your new club. |
 | News Comment | Morsy: The Best Spell of My Career and Life at 19:04:26
Thankyou Sammy for everything, and good luck over in Kuwait! Life changing I'd imagine. This does feel like a slow closing of a chapter in ITFC history. Near enough every game your name was chanted at PR, but I remember when we played I think it was Derby at home, we played in the blackout kit, was it a Friday night?.. Hearing all four sides of Portman Road chanting your name, I actually got chills it was so loud and lack of a better term magical. Out of all the Sam Morsy chants I heard over the last 4 years or so, for whatever reason that chant that night has always stuck with me. |

I think he was pretty solid when at West Brom... I'm interested to see whether he'll be a starter though... I'd imagine Greaves and O'Shea are going to be starters at CB... Unless he'll play the "hybrid" Right back CB role like what Tuanzebe done..? Who Knows! |
 | News Comment | McKenna: Luongo Will Be Moving On Having Been an Incredible Player For the Club at 19:59:33
It's good to know that McK is looking to rebuild the central midfield...I do think that was the cause of a lot of our problems this season, we just weren't good enough in there unfortunately.. would like us to look overseas, especially in Germany, there's some good players that I reckon could do well in England. |
 | News Comment | O'Shea: I Wasn't Expecting It at 15:01:59
Congrats! On a separate note, ive just heard a rumour on the grapevine that town are looking to add another tier to the west stand in the not too distant future...? Apparently to be done before the cobbold is knocked down and rebuilt... is this true...? Ths club want to get ghe capacity up to then host international games. |
 | News Comment | Ipswich Town 0-1 Brentford - Match Report at 23:01:12
As far as I'm concerned, the Championship is the best league in England, pretty much all this season the amount of play acting by opposition has been insane, and the ref apart from Anthony Taylor who I think Reffed us v Man U at home, I think had a pretty good game, the rest are pretty much a joke, and I wouldnt be at all suprised if it all came out about corruption or something... Some decisions this season do make you question, even after a VAR checks... |
 | News Comment | McKenna: Burgess and Tuanzebe Talks Ongoing For a While at 17:00:20
I'd love cam to stay, clearly an organiser at the back, you can see him marshall everyone in place and is very vocal, can hear him from the stands! I actually quite liked Greaves at left back when he's came on in there, thought we looked way more solid. |
