I thought we played really well for majority of the game, second half a bit scrappy, just couldnt score the decisive goal. The lads have/are giving everything for the town no doubt about it. Two cracking saves by Vas. The rest has come a decent time for us I think. |

Getting to the business end of the season, so a win is a win and we got the three points, we move on to the next one.
Yes, was very difficult to watch last night, It was evident that Rotherham set out to physically get into us, but we saw it through...just... A few players looked a bit off it, but we're not going to play silky football every game, we should take pride in the boys that they kept going and fighting until the very end and got the winner.

Well done the boys! Scrappy game and had to really dig in towards mid to end 2nd half, very tired legs out there. Played some great football first half. Mom for me was Clarke, was controlled, measured and got stuck in.

Seen a close up video, it looked to me that he done it on purpose the way he was rolling down there...If you were pushed over then I would think you would be face down trying to stop with your hands, not barrel rolling horizontally down there.
Also, It's a very shallow roof, I've seen opposition fans get up there and run around! They didnt slide off or barrel roll. |

If we're after a left sided player for cover for Leif, then we should look at Thomas Ouwejan from Schalke...Is 27, can play all down the left side, and is also decent on set plays...probably could get him at a decent price too as Schalke are currently struggling in the Bundesliga 2 , and doesn't have much of a future there apparently...could be a handy squad player. |

Great result, two evenly matched teams, Travis I thought slotted into our team perfectly, suits us to a T.
Also thought the subs changed the game for us. Sunderland defence were scared of Hutchinson and Sarmiento, and the noise levels increased second half, as at times it was painfully quiet the first half.
On to Leicester, lets smash them. |

Frustrating game, we play good stuff most of the time, however when the game calls to be more counter attacking we dont't seem to do it, we slow the game right down then the opposition gets everyone behind the ball, just need some cutting edge.
Would like to see us buy two strikers and a number 10.
Plus side we havent conceded in two games! |
