Holloway: Town Will Do Well to Keep Mick
at 12:35:48

I don't believe we ever truly recovered from being relegated and going into administration. We have started to in the last few years at which point our anonymous owner seems to lose interest. MM is on the whole a good manager. Whether he needs to move on or not is almost beside the point - until we see some investment and ambition, any replacement is a big risk. Risks can be good - just not when the man holding the purse strings isn't prepared to manage them.

McCarthy Wants Strong Finish to Season
at 11:29:33

I think most agree MM is a pro, doesn't complain in public and never gets carried away. That being said his comments read "I cant compete without more money"...I can't help but agree 100%.

McCarthy: No Massive Summer Changes to Squad
at 11:20:14

To be fair he does state there will be some fresh bodies and typical MM he doesn't like to bring attention to anything. If these are the quality we need then great, but I suspect this is entirely driven by the pitiful amount of resource he has. Feeney for example, I know he is out of contract but if we went for a similar player, in contract, how much would that cost - 750k - 1million maybe? Can we even afford that plus wages?
I'm not sure I have confidence in MM to buy the sort of player we all want, but he hasn't done badly and if he's not given more resource then what's the plan? Building a team around youth is still a long way off.

Liverpool "Leading Dozzell Chase"

It's nice to see some players coming through - credit to Klug for getting the wheels going on the academy again. Hopefully one of many over the next few years.

Milne: Stick With Us
at 13:08:05

You can say what you like about MM, but with this lot in charge it won't matter who you get in as a manager. "Stick with Us" suggests some kind of plan or strategy - do please enlighten us loyal paying supporters on what that might be and how you set to achieve it?? Simply put, continued levels of investment will not sustain anything, apart from a steady decline into League 1...basically the Sheffield United model.
