 | News Comment | McCarthy: No Surprise Bosses Rate Cresswell at 08:40:43
It appears that he's set such high expectations for himself that he can consistently do things none of our other players can and be considered to not be playing well He was outstanding until about mid December. Slightly less so since then but I'd only say he's had 3/4 really bad games. He should never have been taken off set pieces. Maybe fans have stopped seeing the way he controls the way we keep possession on the floor, and stopped seeing his curling ball down the channel(which Chambers on the other side certainly can't match) just because he has less A's to his name |

I think you're being unfair on Taylor there, Garv. I don't think you can blame him there - he can't pick himself. Not to mention, I think he has been far from shocking in his 3 starts. I take it you didn't see the Birmingham game. Terribly harsh on Taylor |
 | News Comment | Wigan Rival Town for Tunnicliffe at 11:21:57
wow, some people are idiots. A couple of winnable draws and a loss at the runaway leaders and they go a bit silly. Tunnicliffe is no world beater and I wasn't particularly fussed when he left but anyone can see we've lacked presence in there with him gone and Hyam out. |

he wasn't given plenty of chances, did he ever play under McCarthy at all? That said, still a ridiculous comment |
 | News Comment | An Evening With Fabian Wilnis and Franky Fryer at 01:21:36
Think Franky was a bit before my time but from what I've heard aspects of his game were similar to Fabian. I remember when I was very young though watching us play 352 with Fryers on the right and he set up two of the goals when we beat Port Vale 3-0 at Portman Road. |
 | News Comment | McCarthy Wants to Keep Tunnicliffe at 14:20:24
Really like Tunnicliffe, can carry the ball and has lots of energy. I think he's best out wide at the moment, he can be a little loose so I think Hyam and Skuse are our strongest central midfield players at the moment. |
 | News Comment | Mings Only Absentee for Birmingham Trip at 15:15:19
Why wouldn't Hyam start? He's far from our weak link. I find this "we need more creativity so Hyam needs to be dropped" assault from fans very strange, because none of the other midfielders are creating anything and Hyam covers more ground than anyone else doing the simpe things like closing down players, getting himself in a good position defensively as I'm sure the stats would confirm. |
