They sell a remarkable amount. Something like £500M of youth talent sold in recent years. They also have a very creative account. Most of the charges against Man City are not regarding transfers. Most relate to the tapping up and payments to players and managers. Chelsea are the biggest NET spenders. Man Utd 2nd, Spurs are 3rd and Arsenal are 4th. Newcastle are fifth and Man City sixth. Surprisingly West Ham are 7th, only £10M behind Man City. |

Good player with great potential. Not a surprise at all these days. |
 | Forum Reply | Reasons why McKenna shouldn’t go to Brentford at 19:43 8 Jun 2025
Brentford, Fulham, Wolves and Bournemouth are 2 bad signings and a bad managerial appointment away from relegation. That said, I think Brentford would be a good stepping stone for him. If he takes Davis and Hutchinson for £80M with him, then that would be a nice parting present for us. |

That's a prime job for the Chelsea fella. McKenna may be off to them now instead. |

Community club. Solid fan base. Established PL club. Good backers who give their managers time and money. Good all round club and a great stepping stone for KM to get to Man Utd. Apart from the above, absolutely no reason for him to go there. |

And it's that simple. |

McKenna has said he will still be here. Obviously that can change, but he hasn't indicated he won't be. |

If we go with Palmer Johnson, Woolfy, Burgess, Townsend. Morsy, NCM. Hutchinson, Szmodics, Clarke. Hirst. Then we have a real chance of promotion. If Davis is still here, great, but I think that X1 would get us very close. We would potentially have Ogbene, Burns, Chaplin, O'Shea, Graves, Philogene, Broadhead and Taylor to come in as well. We are in a good place and should be top 6 come seasons end. I don't see Hutchinson or Szmodics leaving. O'Shea a possible as with Davis. If all 4 leave, then Ogbene and Philogene come in. Hardly a bad starting X1 that. [Post edited 7 Jun 7:18]

 | Forum Reply | Genuine Question: Could a different manager have kept us up? at 18:24 6 Jun 2025
Think we just went up to soon. A season or 2 in the Championship, to build our squad slower, would have been of benefit. I think if we go back up next season, we will stand a much better chance of staying. So, in answer to your question, no, I don't think so. KM's reluctance to play 3 in midfield did bother me though. |
 | Forum Reply | Oh no! Not Szmodics off now as well? at 18:19 6 Jun 2025
No chance. Did little to nothing for us last season. He will be a very important player for us next season, so don't see anything happening with him. |

Not sure any would be willing to pay £30M for him. |
