Here we go again....so called football experts not understanding how the modern game works and turning their backs on the management team thar provided the recent success...the PL is hard...we went one step too far too early...get real.. and as for the disrespect shown to Swansea that is disgraceful...remember where we cane from..Swansea have new progressive owners and could be a threat next season....they are building just as we did....Burge did a good job for us..but he has to look after his interests just as we have to look after our own...

Kmc and the staff have already started rge recruitment process....we are down the line on that already having known relegation is certain weeks ago....midfield is the main area for recruitment bit I think they know that better than ourselves..it's going to be interesting who they sign but power and pace is essential...
A new training centre on its way....a great workplace for the players....a great stadium...great fans and financial security with a club run in the right way....gonna be tough but they and us too must believe ... |

It's somewhat worrying to read comments from people on this chat who clearly do not understand how modern football works....
Delap has clauses in his contract which allow him to speak to other clubs at this time etc etc etc ..
We should be proud that he chose to come here...that we've watched a future star play for us ..wearing our shirt...I'm sure if we were not relegated he would be staying...however we have been and ge has the right to choose his future career path as any employee would particularly if your contract allows it..
He has not played quite so well in the latter part of the season but that can be attributed to playing in a team that is struggling and importantly his youth...young players form always fluctuates...just enjoy watching him grow and say..he was one of us...

Godfrey looked bad but he was not helped at all ..no cover behind him and no barrier in front of him...Son a quality player in that position ..he can do any defender one on one and we allowed him to get one on one in the first half..second half Spurs did not get him in the game ...Godfrey was left exposed..yes he could have done better but don't look at it in isolation there are other factors at play sometimes....in addition why were the 2 players unmarked for the goals..and when at only 2-1 down Hutchinson tried a flick which gave the ball away in the midfield and they scored...at that stage of the game in that position you look after the ball...as culpable as any defenders' woes but hardly mentioned...oh and the " fans ' who leave early in the West Stand lasted until 75 mins today rather than their usual half time exit...please stick with your team or let someone who is a true fan have it .
We have come a long way in a shirt time....be realistic ! |

I tend to agree...Morsy has been a positive influence on our climb to the PL but he is not up to the level required...CM is key in a game of football...the attributes of power strength and skill are clearly on show by our opponents....that's where we should have invested...but we must and will continue to support the team and players who wear our shirt .. |

Watch KMc behaviour towards officials....while he fights his corner he dies it within the boundaries of decency....anyone who witnessed the harassment of the fourth official from the first minute to last by Sean Dyche and his 2 assistant coaches for Everton earlier in the season will see how to overstep the boundaries....they questioned every decision every throw in every free kick..just everything...they took it in turns to have a go....embarrassing to watch and I'm glad KMc doesn't behave that way |

I agree with thek comments regarding leaving the ground early...of course I understand it if you have an appointment or are elderly or vulnerable and want to avoid the crowd..but stay with your team whatever the score...nobody likes it when you are 3 down at the break like the Newcastle game..but like KMc says..be brave...show your true worth as a supporter...the players need you more in those times...run towards adversity..thart includes us . |

Do you remember KMc saying we need to be brave...not the players..us the supporters...that time is here and now....stick with the boys not walk out at halftime like a couple near near me in the West Stand did against Newcastle ...who give standing ovations to players when they are substituted in good times but when they need real SUPPORT in difficult moments they abandoned them...be brave ...support your club through good times and bad..real supporters..support. |
