Far from delighted with this. He made a decent impact initially but was very poor by the end of the campaign - needlessly giving the ball away and lacking any sort of touch or composure. I really hope he is being seen as back-up and McCarthy will still be able to bring in a decent young wide player. |

Totally agree with the subject of the blog - it is a comparison I often draw and one that makes me shudder! We are more than halfway towards 'doing a Coventry' (as they will surely finally go down this year after years of mediocrity), lets make sure this is our tipping point and we start to make progress towards the upper echelons of the league sooner rather than later. |

This stinks of a 'keep your chin up lad' sort of comment prior to Jewell dropping him for Leadbitter tomorrow. Unfortunately Jewell thinks this constitutes good, motivational management. Telling people they were 'unlucky to be dropped' doesn't motivate them, it just makes them lose faith in your managerial ability! |

I thought we were excellent today so it's surprising to hear both managers playing us down. Created plenty of chances and were very solid at the back, the side are really starting to look like a cohesive unit and a team.
