Apart from Delap I don't see any other player that premier league teams will be chasing when we go down. Unless other players in the squad are sold off we are stuck with the present lot. Another indictment of our poor transfer buys. |

Serious question. Poor signings, persisting with Muric when obvious he was not up to it, poor tactics such as tonight. All we needed was to have one other club to underperform to stay up and Wolves have given us that opportunity. We have no system of playing and look disjointed. Tonight was the time to go for it and we showed zero ability. Bringing on Sammy at the end was laughable. Appreciate the promotions but Premier league is different standard. |

When you compare our signings over the summer and the current window we have gone with young unproven and largely Championship players compared to the clubs above us. Is this a reflection of our limited finances and inexperience or more down to ineptitude and wrong approach? |

We cannot afford to get hammered both in this game and against Liverpool at the weekend for our goal difference if we are to stand any chance of keeping pace with Wolves. Also we just don't get close enough to the opposition for many of the goals conceded. |

Muric's lack of presence in the penalty box, stuck on his heels for crosses, indecision when playing out from the back and general panic in defence will be the difference between staying up and going down. He has been dreadful all season. |

We have to be in with a shout of staying up at that stage or it will be even harder to entice any quality to come in.
Do we lack the negotiating ability in the transfer market or hamstrung by money or spending rules or both?
Also given the lack of foreign players signing do we lack a presence there? |

Could it be that last season was a promotion too far for all concerned? I am ecstatic that we did it but it may have been a season too soon. Even some of the transfers in are not of premier league standard and given the lateness some smack of desperation. How can Liverpool get Chiesa for 10 million when SS or Ogbenie cost us about the same? |

I never realised there were so many supporters in Ireland. When someone would ask me what team I supported I would usually have to explain who Ipswich were and why, especially these last 20 years. Not any more after yesterday. The mckenna link (my namesake) will only mean a greater following in the future. |

Not quite the last saloon/high noon but its close. Have been gifted so many opportunities in the past that tonight has to be the night. No opposition is going to roll over for us and we have to be tighter at the back without gifting goals away. I would hate to go into Saturday needing a win. I think Leeds will easily beat Saints. |
