This is one for Ashton not KMc to deal with, he needs to concentrate on team matters. If he doesn’t want to play let him train with the under21’s. If we don’t get the money that Ashton deems is fair to our club then let’s see how he gets on not being involved with the 1st team squad after the window closes.
I have total confidence that Ashton won’t be pushed around and will ultimately get the right deal for our club, otherwise he can sit on the bench for the reserves. |

I think they both deserve some credit for their performance last night. We’re more used to Cam doing his work effectively but Fin looks like he has a real bite to him, accepts the ball well in tight areas and his awareness means his distribution choices are consistently good. We’ve got a couple of gems here and I’m looking forward to seeing more of them both. |

All decent sides are built on a solid defence which allows others to be creative and play. We simply didn’t sign any experienced Premiership defenders and we’ve been found out. Letchworth Blue that is about the most sensible reflection I’ve seen on the speculations.I believe how we navigate this is a serious stress test of the organisational structure at town and as such will have a huge bearing on our ability to grow and develop with or without KMc. If we’re cute if or when he goes we can install someone who can add further to our Prem security. If he stays the we get on with it in much the same vein. The bottom line is that we cannot keep giving two goals way regularly and get away with it. Whoever the manager selects we will need to find a formula and personnel that tightens us up. I’m certain the manager knows this and will find a way either with this group of defenders or with recruitment in January. Hopefully he can do that without nullifying our attacking threat too much! |
