And I'd like to thank you Harry. I have been on each day to look at the work that you have done, and it's been fascinating reading. It must have taken you time and effort which I, and I know the board, appreciate - your contributions make this site richer and I look forward to more blogs in the coming season. |

I saw this list a bit earlier - didn't Colchester lose and were therefore knocked out? |

I agree. Saying: "Hopefully other clubs will show an interest" to me means that he would prefer to stay up north than play for Town. I don't blame him, its time for Jewell to look for a younger CB who can play for us for years. |

This is one of the best blogs I've read on here, and it all makes a lot of sense. Totally agree with the midfield issue, Jewell has got the 4 lads and he seems scared to drop any of them to the bench. He didn't address several issues over the summer and he is now paying for it. I would much rather be just above the relegation zone with a team that is learning, evolving and full of promise than with the current team of yesterdays average former Premier league players who don't care about ITFC. Cresswell, Murray, Carson - they are all young and seem to want to pull the blue shirt on. Some of the others are just here for that last pay check, and until we get some young blood into the team, I'm not sure many fans will be happy. Never-the-less, I do believe Jewell should be given more time. |

Stupid iPhone! I'd agree with most of this blog. Sacking Jewell would not bring instant success. In fact, instant success is hard to come by. Jewell has failed to address defensive issues, signing quality centre backs had to be done and I'm unsure he has managed this, and his stubbornness to not change from the diamond is frustrating at times. But no one could have predicted Bullard would start so poorly or that so many off field problems would shroud the club in such a short amount of time. We have quality, and as someone has said on the forum, Jewell has got all the right notes, he's just struggling to put them in the right order. |
