However I think Everton's youth policy is bemusing, they keep their youngsters until they are 26/27 years of age. That model surely can't work for them, I'm certain they would know much sooner if he was going to make it at PL level. |

Great news but, and I know I'll get a lot of hate for this, I think a thank you to Marcus Evans in part is due. He saved us at the start, he tries his best (I know it wasn't good enough in the end) and has hopefully done what is best for the club. I'm not happy with where we were but in truth, again especially at the start, it could and indeed would have been a lot worse without him. His era is over so let's look forward instead of slating him. Let's start trying to be a bit more positive for a change. |

The difference is their job is not essential. Knowing how hard the hospitals are struggling at the moment I cannot see why we are keeping this going. Every positive case is extra pressure on an already struggling NHS. Each test is also adding pressure. I think football needs a reality check and to me playing on is madness. |

Just sounds like a way to make it difficult for lower league clubs to either hold on too or demand a decent figure, for their better players.
Also can see those clubs in L1 yo-yoing between L1 & Championship.
Surely a % would be better and an independant company making sure they are sticking to this and if no points deduction at that stage. |

All we can hope is all this money coming in means less of what we do have, have to go out. We need to be realistic, give us £9m and all that does it make up the shortfall so stop going on about it needing to be reinvested.
I also don't think we need to go and reinvest. The players we have now are good enough to compete, but be realistic this could be a 2 or 3 year project. Let's just look for progress.
