 | News Comment | McKenna: Arsenal Have Qualities Any Team Would Admire at 18:41:58
I think I'm correct in saying that our last, and rare victory came against, first I washed my face and then me Arsenal was in 2000 in the league cup? Having beaten the minnows of Real Madrid in two consecutive matches, I don't fancy our chances. I know that McK has been tactically naive this season but remember that he is a young manager and learning his trade. We'll be alright next season. Keep the faith. Because after 20+ years, this short visit to the top flight is something we couldn't even imagined three or four years ago. |

I'm sure Manchester City will get a points deduction but those who make the decisions will work out the total at the end of the season and ensure they finish 4th from bottom. Citeh are too big, too successful and too rich to be relegated in the eyes of those in charge. And agreed Alphawhisky, not a chance of Delap being here next year. He owes us nothing. He never gives less than 100% and has run himself into the ground for us this season. A young player who wants to improve and he won't want to be doing that against Wrexham on a wet January evening in North Wales. |
 | News Comment | McKenna: More Than Likely Town Will Be in the Championship Next Season at 20:36:03
VAR has one major flaw. It is still down to an individuals perspective. Rules have been changed to accommodate it's flaws such as the ridiculous handball rule that existed last season. Until technology can make every decision on the pitch it will be a failure. I happened to watch Leeds v Derby some time ago. Northern rivalry, under the lights, great atmosphere and end to end football without the constant stoppages and debating whether a toe was offside. And as much as I wanted us to stay up, I might even get to see a few games if the Manchester utd, Liverpool and Chelsea fans give up their season tickets so those of us who can't get to every game, now we're no longer 20 years old and just had our plums to think about. I do think being away from the top flight for so long, meant many of us didn't realise the huge gulf in quality. I had us down to beat the drop with a game or two to go. And I'm usually very cynical having followed Ipswich for over 40 years. |

I think he's had enough stick on this site Pete. The TWTD boys probably feel he doesn't need anymore. |

Perhaps there will come a time when technology makes instant decisions on everything. The only official needed would be a big bloke to hand out a few slaps to those players who show petulance and disrespect. |
 | News Comment | Delap Training With Senior England Squad at 18:22:05
Genuine question. Will he want to be playing in the championship next year if he has his heart set on breaking into the England senior team? I can't help but think a team in the Premier League would happily meet the £40 million buy out clause whatever the ins and outs of that curtail? 10 goals this year? Most of those created by himself. With decent service Delap would be a 20+ goals a season player. |
