 | News Comment | Derby Linked With Skipper Morsy at 10:36:03
Important to keep him for me to set the standards for the new midfield. He'll be involved in most games and has been so robust and so regularly available. I think it probably suits him being 34 soon not to play 90 minutes every week. He'll most likely play high numbers anyway. |
 | News Comment | Blues Linked With Loan Move For Reims Defender Kipré at 17:16:29
Jufgsy I'd be surprised if it is that high though it will be inflated based on it being based on performance i.e. promotion. He has been anywhere between free and £1m his entire career. I don't think a season in France has quadrupled his value personally. If we go up and pay that though it's a price to pay I suppose! I'm sure he is seen as a cover signing and can cover multiple positions |
 | News Comment | Town Not Up For Sale at 16:22:48
£100 million + in player sale proceeds though does seem quite specifically talking about player sales rather than their worth. At best this is very clumsy wording but surprised they just wrote it wrong... |
 | News Comment | Town Linked With US International Striker Agyemang at 11:09:09
Arnie, what are you on about? We've had great success nearly every transfer window signing strikers. Last Jan was the only one we struggled and basically wasn't required in the end as Delap and Hirst stayed fit.We just sold one for twice the money (and would have been more of not relegated) who we got last summer. In recent windows we have signed Hirst, Moore, Al Hamadi Delap etc as well as 30+ goals in Szmodics. Window only recently opened. My bet is it will follow the normal pattern where we do get a good one!!! |
 | News Comment | Hutchinson: We Want to Be Dominant Against Spain at 09:16:58
Armchair we are the reigning champs in this and we have consistently made semi finals and finals in recent years in the senior team. Winning any major tournament at any level is hard and the odds are stacked against any one team winning it (even if you are the best squad). Think we've performed well for the sum of our parts in recent years (unlike the so called golden generation) We sometimes don't appreciate how good a lot of the teams are. |
 | News Comment | Wardley Wins! at 23:32:55
Nothing lucky about that punch. It's just a quality knockout after being bossed for the majority of the fight. Wilder made a top career out of it. Huni was such a dangerous opponent with really good pedigree (just unknown). Fortunate to win on balance, but a great punch. That's heavyweight boxing. |
 | News Comment | Al-Hamadi Red-Carded For Iraq at 21:05:56
That's a dreadful call. Clearly accidental. I know you can say putting opponent at risk but there is no force there at all. |
 | News Comment | Szmodics and Tuanzebe Set For Ops as McKenna Gives Lowdown on Injury Woes at 18:25:02
I think if people actually read the article then apart from Sammie it's mostly positive updates. Tuanzebe op is not his hammie, it's just his hand and taking the opportunity. His injury is less serious and back soon. Omari and Enciso very close. Philips back training. Chaplin doesn't sound miles off. The only unknown is who might miss out who picked up knocks against Forest. Sounded less long term either way. |
 | News Comment | Edmundson Completes Boro Move at 11:54:20
I very very very rarely comment on the comments section but I can't remember seeing a more ridiculous post the the one above from tractor boy in HK. Imagine getting annoyed by the club getting a much better deal. Ashton has consistently done excellent deals both buying and selling and to come on and post about getting a better deal negatively because we might not. Unreal. |
 | News Comment | Wednesday Eyeing Clarke at 17:13:29
Good move for all of it happens. Clarke's Ipswich story doesn't have to be over. He can keep developing his game! |
 | News Comment | Blues Renew Philogene Interest at 13:48:13
Love people on here being bitter about a young lad choosing to back himself and play at the top end of the Prem and champions League over us. Anyone other than a diehard town fan would make that same decision. The lad was more than happy to join us but got a genuinely better offer. Same as nay other walk of life. Don't be so ridiculous. |
 | News Comment | Sheeran Played Role in Delap Signing at 17:21:13
Delap mentioned this when he signed on one of the Towntv interviews. Come to think of it I'm sure Kalvin Philips mentioned the same. Ed is determined to make a return on his investment! Good lad |

 | News Comment | Former Blues Left-Back Penney Joins Dale at 21:03:12
Find this bizarre as he was good enough to make a good impact in Scottish Prem but now playing non league. Never felt he was quite right for us but should be playing L1 or L2 at worst. |
 | News Comment | Burgess Scores Own Goal as Socceroos Draw at 16:27:38
On what basis should he be used more? Love Mass but he'll play on merit like everyone else. Phillips and Cajuste have outstanding pedigree and are quality players. Taylor has also done well. Really don't see the issue and glad that Mass can get some minutes for his country again. |
 | News Comment | McKenna: Phillips Back in Training at 08:50:27
I could see Clarke going out on loan as I don't think given the surgery and time out he'll be that close to action and being thrown in to Prem. Hopefully a run out in fa cup and assessed between now and Jan but wouldn't surprise me either way if he stays or gets a loan. He's still young and lots of potential and improvement in him. |
