I’ve booked parking in Q-park mailbox as my wife will take the kids round the bullring and the canal walking tour. Had to compromise! That curry in West Brom sounds amazing though!
Thank you kindly. I read that too. Just wondered how foolproof it was for anyone who has done Stoke before, and/or how early you needed to snag a spot in either of the two indicated car parks.
Looking forward to taking my daughter to her first away game, but I’ve not been to Bet365 stadium before. Can anyone advise on best away parking (ideally online purchase before hand for a space so we can drive straight in).
I was at the Cambridge game yesterday as it’s my closest ground. Shad me looked ok, nothing special. He had quite a ding dong with the very tall Bristol centre NS k and he got subbed on like 70mins. Nothing amazing
…. And in a continuing six degrees of separation style recommendations - if you like slow news, you’ll also love Tortoise Media kickstarted by ex Head of News at the BBC, James Harding. :)
Keep em coming… I feel like I’ve found a likeminded soul in you Joe :)
Wow. You shouldn’t of told me about These Football Times. Absolutely beautiful and comparable style cues from my favourite magazine Delayed Gratification - you’d love it. They love an infographic :) https://www.slow-journalism.com/
Yeah Daniel Gray and Harry Person on one of the WSC live events at the end of last year both spoke fondly about Foul magazine 😊
Been reading the active / semi active forum post thread over at One Touch Football about The Blizzard since it’s pilot / issue zero in March 2011 https://www.onetouchfootball.com/
Yeah I never read Mundial - might swipe a copy off eBay. I have a WSC subscription and love it. Just got into Jonathan Wilson (inverting the pyramid) / Marcus Speller (Football Ramble) quarterly called The Blizzard.
So much good football writing has moved online but I’m a sucker for a quality hold in the hands mag
