tempzzzz. I agree to a point. I, like most, think this squad is easily good enough for top 10 in L1, so I would expect them to be far better than a side bottom 2 L2. The performance does matter, as at the moment I am not totally convinced on this squad being good enough for top 6, so for me, performance does matter in games like these. In the league 3 points is 3 points, I couldn't really care about performance, but against bottom 2 L2, I think it does. |

blues1. That did make me chuckle. "Keyboard warrior". Very funny. You are right about I thing, I wasn't there last night. I have been to Oldham a few times, really don't like the place. I have/do go to a lot of games though. I would be very surprised if you attend more games than me. For instance, I shall be driving to Sunderland and back on Saturday. I listened to last nights game and it sounded like Oldham were on top for most of the first half. I am of course delighted that we won, but from our starting X1, I would expect better. Compared to Oldham's starting X1, I was expecting more. Of course it is the cup and Oldham were always going to go up a gear, but still, our starting X1 should be superior. The improvement in our squad from last season is there for everyone to see, but on the pitch, I am still not totally convinced. I am sorry if you saw it as an unnecessary dig, but I still need some convincing that this squad is as good as we hope they are.
