Is this the way it's going to go?...

Would like it to be true, but then I think you don't know what you are on about, so isn't at all true.

My Wife is a vegan. She deals with all that sort of stuff.
I just like chicken.

I'm not in charge of the chicken farmers, so not my argument really. I am probably a lot older than you and possibly have different views than you on this kind of thing.

I like both, but don't think chicken is overrated.

I usually fry them, so a bit of a waste buying the good stuff.

Please don't ask the chicken farmers to go on strike. I like chicken.

I do eat a lot of chicken.
2 chicken breasts sliced with some mixed peppers fried.
Boil some rice with half a tin petit pois peas.
Half way through frying, add chopped pineapple (tinned is fine) and some chopped leaks. Add a pack of sweet and sour sauce. (To much hassle to make). Once cooked remove to oven proof dish.
Drain rice and peas and put in frying pan. Part in the middle and add 2 eggs. Constantly stir until eggs are cooked.
Place rice in middle of plate and separate. Pour chicken and others over the top and enjoy.

Is it what to have for tea.
Tonight I am torn between.
Sweet & Sour Chicken with Egg Fried Rice or Steak Pie and Mashed Potatoes with Peas and Gravy.
I'll keep you updated.

Now that is a great question.
1. Cheddar (bit obvious, but the king of cheeses)
2. Red Leicester (lovely in a sandwich)
3. Double Gloucester (no reason, just a lovely cheese)
4. Philadelphia (not technically a cheese, but lovely)
5 Wensleydale (good enough for Wallace, good enough for me)

Had a gooseberry bush in our garden when I was a kid. Me and my mates use to see how many we could put in our mouth and eat in one go.
From memory the most was 9.
Very sour on their own.

I think it was the bottom.
Very childish of me.

Hope I didn't distract you. Apologies if I did.
Interesting that you love the berry variety of fruits.
Gooseberry and rhubarb crumble use to be a favourite. With custard obviously.
The banana doesn't seem to get much support around here, so much be the rest of the country eating them.
Thanks for the feedback.
