It's funny. A lot of people bang on about him. Saying he's stupid, a tool and what have you. He clearly isn't stupid. He's fairly eloquent and I would imagine smarter than half the people having a pop. He has done stupid things. But then so have we all. It doesn't make us stupid. |

Toto Player of the Year. Not the most gifted or skillful. But I think the most honest. Most improved since last season. Always prepred to put his body on the line. Yes got several ricks in him. Yes gives away penalties (often unfairly). But I think objectively been our best player over the season. Would have gone for Wilson but he just hasn't played enough. So Toto for me. |

I think if we play Downes and Nydam we win more of the midfield battle and Dozzell can play further forward and do less of that ineffective shirt-pulling and kamikaze passing infront of the back line. KVY and Edwards pushing on to provide width. Dobra and Judge swapping position at will to support Norwood up front. Can also switch to a 442 with Dobra playing off Norwood if needed. But needs to play direct and fast (on the ground and in the air) And Downes and Nydam in their midfields faces every time Dons have the ball.

Lee O'Neill really makes my skin crawl. He's a Cameron/Blair wannabe who weasels himself around probably agreeing with whoever's infront of him then selling them down the river first chance he gets. Its people like that in an organisation that rot it from the core, spreading toxicity wherever they go. And in other news if this takeover dies on the branch and Evans brings in a buddy as manager this really could go south. |

Erm...pencilpete, that would be the Preston that have won the FA Cup twice, the League title/old first division twice, the old second division three times, the old third div (you know, the one we are currently in!) twice and the old fourth once. I would say in terms of honours they certainly are mighty compared to us. And you might say many of the those honours were won a LONG time ago, but then look at us...ours aren't particularly recent are they? And therein lies the problem. So many fans bark the myth about us being a big club, and carry this sense of wounded entitlement that we should always be winning stuff or we're too good for where we are. The facts are the facts and that simply isn't true. We are a small provincial club that has had more than it's fair share of success in the past. We're not there at the moment. It might come again. But we are not ENTITLED to it. If clubs previous achievements entitled them to anything Preston would be infront of us in the queue. |

We won. Lambert did what people asked and was honest about the performance. We've not played great in the games after Doncaster. BUT Won 7 out of 10. Not a goal conceded at home in the league. I question the idea that we've got the best squad in the division. When everyone is fit maybe we've got one of the better ones. But they're not. And we haven't. Maybe get off his back. Take back to back wins and hope we get something at Sunderland. I'd take a point. |
