Yeah just a bit sick of your continued negativity mate. Multiple comments on different threads all amounting to the same thing. You’ve whinged your way through the transfer window, although I haven’t seen much on that in the last few days for some reason, and now it’s back to McKenna again. I may have missed it but I don’t think I’ve ever seen a positive comment from you. Your user name is spot on though. |

We clearly had 8 million to spend on a keeper last season and didn’t invest it particularly wisely. And to say that keepers like Alisson and Ederson are no more than adequate is just ridiculous. Also I think Onana has shown Man Utd exactly how important it is to have a decent keeper.
Apart from that I agree with everything you’ve said. |

Because it’s pretty much the same people moaning about everything. As well as after every game, they’ve spent the last few weeks moaning about the transfer window and it just gets tiresome. Some couldn’t even wait for the game to finish today before they were on here with the ‘McKenna out’ stuff. When things go well, such as all the signings this week, you don’t hear anything from them. |

Same people every time. They’ve had to take a couple of days off from moaning about the transfer window so couldn’t wait to get on here today.

Not an over achievement, no. But an achievement nonetheless. To say (because of things that have happened since) that it was somehow less impressive because we finished behind a team that got over 100 points is nonsensical. |

You keep banging on about the fact that we finished 2nd to Plymouth in league 1 being some kind of massive failure because of how they performed in the following season(s). We got 98 points that season and were breaking all kinds of records in the later months in terms of points acquired, goals scored, clean sheets etc. All once KMcK had built his squad and had a bit of time to work with them. We were excellent in that part of the season. Plymouth got over 100 points and hats off to them for that. We really couldn’t have done much more. But because Plymouth struggled in the Championship the following season, they must’ve been somehow rubbish the season before?!?! And instead of celebrating our somewhat incredible promotion to the Premier League, we instead should’ve been looking at where Plymouth finished and picking up clues from that as to how bad a manager KMck actually is for finishing behind them the previous season?!?!

I get that, but we have to give it a bit more time after a rebuild (with 2 or 3 still to come in hopefully). If we’re still in the same situation after 10 games, then maybe it’s time to worry.
I’m not sure KmcK would’ve had an awful lot to do with a lot of the 23/24 team leaving. He certainly would’ve liked to have kept hold of Morsy and one or two others, I’m sure. He would’ve had a big say in the purchases though and there are clearly a lot of question marks there at the moment. He’ll no doubt live or die by those decisions. [Post edited 24 Aug 10:48]
