It gives me enormous comfort to know we HAVE got it in us to win ugly. That is a vital part of successful football.
I’m not sure how Blackburn are where they are with a performance like that, definitely posed a threat and will win more games than lose with that intensity.
Morsy was immense again but we were dodgy especially 2nd half. This end of the season it is to be expected. Also remember no burgess or Wes, Moore on back of 120 mins on Tues and leif ill. Rest up go again on Monday. |

A ripe old bunch of sentimentalists on here, I'm sure if most of you had your way, we'd be watching football on muddy pitches and heading balls that weigh 15lb.
What I am surprised at, is that no one has mentioned that this rule adds to imbalance within the game. Clubs that have more money can fill those 9 spaces with a better quality of player than those who'll fill the spaces with youth players. This will further suit the clubs benefitting from parachute payments. |

Big game to start so we can just get straight into it! 5pm on a school night at Sunderland is no worse than any midweek game that kicks off at 7.45pm (other than Plymouth obviously) and it's on TV if it's that big an issue.

I am genuinely baffled by so much positive sentiment towards MM on here. 1. His brand of football has ALWAYS been awful at whatever club he was. 2. He told ITFC fans to F*** Off at Nodge (which I get as he was getting dog's abuse) but when questioned about it he blatantly lied! 3. Took the Pi** again out of ITFC fans, ridiculing us for being in the league he helped condemn us to.
Caveat all this with Marcus Evans lack of vision/investment. But ask yourself this, When gamechanger did as their name suggested, who would you have in charge Mick or Kieran? I know we have the benefit of hindsight, but what, in MMs career history, suggests we would ever have seen a good footballing team and full houses at PR as we have done lately? Honestly, I am so glad all those lording him up have had no say in the progress of this club with their we don't need to change anything attitude. |

It just goes to show if you give the right player the right chance in the right set up what can be done. Nathan wasn't really on anyone's radar before he joined Town. Everton weren't giving him chances and he hardly set the world alight with numerous loan moves. Credit has to go to the Town setup for backing him and to the lad himself for his attitude and taking his chance.
Can play a major part in Town's promotion and who knows where that will lead! |

I seriously despair of some of our supporters.

Putting the teams promotion chances ahead of fans who didn't buy flexible travel/hotel accommodation is absolutely the right thing to do. Sorry for those out of pocket but if we play a weakened side and lose and miss out on promotion, how would you feel then? |
