Getting rid of PJ to bring in Gary Megson, Mick McCarthy or Alex McGleish would be stupid because they will all be very similar to Jewell. We need someone with fresh ideas, new coaching methods, enthusiasm etc. These lot are all managerial dinosaurs from the same era, they bring nothing new and in a year of their tenure we would be in exactly the same position as we are now. We should have got rid of PJ earlier and got Lee Clark or Chris Hughton before they went elsewhere. I would prefer a manager from the lower leagues whose on the up and whose reputation is growing and knows about the transfer market in the lower leagues. |
