A big shame that the home kit (at least) in the infant range has a screen printed club logo, rather than last year's where it was stitched.
I wonder what the rationale for it is/was. |

QED football being a game of opinions I thought Taylor completely regressed towards the end of the season. Obviously it wouldn't have helped not having a consistent run in the team, so that's mitigating, but I'm no longer part of the JTFC as I was probably until about February of this year. Next season is massive for him, I hope he finds the form that made me such a fan. |

I wholeheartedly disagree with this but setting it to the side for a second...
No matter whose man he is or isn't marking, there is zero mitigation to be so far behind the rest of the defensive line. I'll be disappointed if he's not copped some in the aftermath from DO'S or CB because it's so inexcusable and can be found in Chapter 1 of Defending 101. |

Even if his star is on the wane a bit I thought Kevin De Bruyne was terrific at PR.
Seemingly always in space and made some very intelligent runs. Very much 'as good as billed' in terms of 'one of the best ever PL midfielders'.
I also got a new-found appreciation in that game just how fast and powerful Haaland is. The way he picked up the ball on half way, turned and drove straight at the goal was remarkable. and not something you can necessarily see on telly. |

I laud the OP for a well-reasoned post and backing up the points made; a rare quality in current climes.
However as much as I love Mass and he's one of The Boys that should never buy a drink in Ipswich as long as he should live, he just didn't pass the eye test for me on Monday. Comfortably behind the play in seemingly every phase I can't see a world where he does the job we need at this level. |

Now they're having a sale on the kits I've been tempted to pick up one of the short-sleeved GK shirts.
In the absence of being able to get down there myself to check, is the material on these thicker than the outfield ones, or are they the same?

I hope the club do a proper send-off when it's all confirmed. None of this "wish him well" - no doubt there's enough footage of him in the media library they should be able to do at least a 30s vid I've have thought. |
