Oh SE Blue, gutted. Stretchstar, yes there's at least 3 or 4 of us in Plympton! |
| News Comment | Jewell Likely to Stick With Same Side at 14:04:56
I'll settle for the same as last season but with 11 men on the pitch this time! You've got to be positive and go for the win first game. If we play 4-5-1 i just hope we don't end up hoofin it up to target man Chopra. Looking forward to the game but not the ground due to the lack of beer on sale inside! |
| News Comment | Hourihane Nets for Plymouth at 09:30:30
From Argyle fans that watched him last night: he had some decent long range passing ability but made errors with shorter passing. Looked keen to get a contract, didn't set the world alight but would be a useful signing for the Greens |

In the minority i know but, Plymouth Argyle away for me please! |
| News Comment | O\'Dea Set to Replace Kennedy for Bristol City Trip at 15:21:06
My local game for the season (only 2 hours up the M5!). Should be a good open game with both teams nothing to play for. Like other above O'Dea is a strange one unless he has told Jewell he fancies staying next season. Not sure of him at LB though going forward. Someone else made the point earlier in the week but if the likes of McC, Del & Norris are not going to sign, we should definately be putting some youngsters in for the last 4 games of the season. To be fair Jewell has done that with Carson and look how that's turned out! Hopefully that means they're all signing - i personally think Mc & Del are more crucial than Norris. |
| News Comment | Dyer Will Benefit From Leeds Game at 09:06:07
Sounding like a broken record, but Sat's game illustrated what a solid centre back pairing we have. They are clearly putting themselves on the line which in the contract circumstances is admirable (i also appreciate they are playing for a new contract!). We need to sign them up now. Great to see KD back and if he impresses would love to see him return on a full time basis in the summer. |
| News Comment | Jewell Reveals Millwall Relegation Worries at 09:03:41
Interesting he says we looked doomed after Millwall when the previous game at home to Arsenal was one of our best performances of the season! I agree, we played very well Sat and the signs are there for a good season next year provided we can find a decent goal poacher. Whist we're playing well with 4-3-3, we really need 2 up front and revert to 4-4-2 to give the lone stricker some support. Scotland didn't have the best of games Sat but i felt sorry for him as he had no support. |
| News Comment | Fallon Signs on Loan at 13:45:20
Words escape me. Actually they're coming back....a horrific signing. Living in Plymouth and having seen him in action i can honestly say this is an atrocious aquisition. My colleagues in work here who are Argyle season ticket holders are laughing themselves silly. Apparently on tues night against Dagenham his first 5 touches were to Dagenham players. He's been booed off every game this season. I did hear he has just been spotted at Derriford Hospital in Plymouth this morning so the only glimmer of hope is that he fails his medical and the deal falls through. Not happy |
| News Comment | Town Make Move for Plymouth Striker at 12:39:54
Right, avid Town fan here living in Plymouth and has seen Mr Fallon play for PAFC on numerous occasions. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT SIGN THIS WORTHLESS IDIOT. I work in an office full of Argyle season ticket holders who are literally laughing at me. DON'T DO IT MR KEANE |
| News Comment | Priskin Nets in Hungarian Victory at 09:15:15
Talk Sport said this morning that Priskin scored one then missed three more chances from a combined total of 8 yards out! |
| News Comment | Keane Confirms Derry Was Close to Joining Town at 09:17:35
I'm sorry Mr Keane but again it sounds like excuses. Just when we hit a blip in form and are heading downwards he has to hint that it's not his fault. Disappointing. Nevertheless i shall be doing the 500 mile round trip tomorrow to give the Blues my full support. PS my first time in Nottingham - anyone got any suggestions where to go for a few beers?... |
| News Comment | Keane Confirms Derry Was Close to Joining Town at 16:53:14
Nicely written and very similar to my thoughts and situation. I picked up Town in 1980 and have followed them ever since, I've experienced the same as you at school with mates here supporting Argyle and if i was lucky, a once a year 325 mile pilgrimage to PR. I used to rely on sunday papers for reports, and even a friend who had family in Suffolk brought me back a local paper or two to read after he had visited! As TWTD emerged i used to pick up a few fanzines to bring home to get the fans' views! Now this has all changed and like you, i have family which prevents my trips to PR as i have 3 boys all under 3yo (all Junior Blues!). My trips are to Bristol & S Wales to watch Town. The internet has definately brought me closer to Town and gives me the opportunity to take even more interest in them (if that's possible!!) |
| News Comment | Keane: No Loanee This Week at 13:53:45
Gotta be Colback then. With Cattermole suspended Sunderland clearly need him as cover for the next game or two. He's worth waiting for! |
