Shame to see the vitriol aimed at us but I can understand why when I read the "selected" posts from Derby forums. I can assure you the vast majority of Derby fans do not think automatic promotion is likely this season and play-offs would be a great achievement. The over-excitement around the club is down to Rowett leaving and a new style of football being introduced. Similarly we know what a tight budget you guys work to and appreciate we have a wealthy owner although FFP still applies to us.
Anyway, I hope you have a good season and I look forward to visiting Portman Rd. I've always had a soft spot for Ipswich - a proper football club from a proper football town. A bit like us really.
