Hahahaha !!! sorry but I cant actually believe the comments regarding Wickham. It really is pathetic that you are looking to knock the brightest prospect at the club at the first opportunity. Alright he is not in the best of form at the moment and his heading ability is one of the attributes he needs to work on but what you also fail to recognise is that he is not fully fit yet (no pre season due to injury) and he is SEVENTEEN!! years old and how do you expect him to fulfil this potential if he does not get the experience required to adapt his game to this level. As for not being able to trap a ball that's just bulls*** from what I have seen he has one of the best touches and technical ability at the club. (venting over) |

In my opinion he should be moving his way down the leagues not up. Ok he had one decent season but on the whole he lacks pace or quality and what really annoys me is the legend of 'how great his work rate and closing down is' really his closing down is innefective as he does not have the pace to get close enough and draws him out of position and if you watch most of his headers are won against small left backs. Against centre backs or full backs with heading ability he gets dominated |
