All these calls for a striker..... Ryan hardie at Plymouth has 7 league goals and Sheffield wed have a couple with 5.. we have players on 5 also.... we have scored the second most goals in the league - 1 less than Plymouth.
Clarke Harris has 12, bit we are 7 points ahead of Peterborough. Let's be honest, we don't need a striker, there are more than enough goals in the team. We simply need to be better in both boxes and we do have the players to do it... |

Some strange comments on here... Do you really expect a league 1 team, who finished mid table last term to actually compete with any Arsenal XI? Nketiah earns 100k a week... I just don't understand why as soon as we have a slightly poor result, it's all doom and gloom. Since Lincoln we have won 7, drawn 3 and lost 2... this actually is pretty good form!!! Not really that inconsistent. It's time we actually just supported and stopped expecting to win every game, no football team wins every game! We changed there owners, manager, entire backroom staff and all the players over the last 9 months and it's going to be a long journey, but it's already way more exciting than the last 12 or so years. |

Why are people going on about playing one up front? At least 90% of all teams play with one up front!!! It's football nowadays.. WAKE UP. Let's be honest, we could win playing 4231, 442, 352, 532. What's more important is the players understand they system, all pull in the same direction and believe in what they are being told to do. I think it could all come together and will give Cook time to get it right. If it doesn't work I also have faith in Ashton and the rest to make the correct decisions for the club. Get behind the team, stop whinging and believe! |

You can't simply buy success, a winning team and change the culture of a downbeat club in one pre-season. Anyone who thinks it is possible to do so is kidding themselves. We must be patient with the manager and team (staff included), as we are starting a completely new project.. it's almost a totally new club after the terrible Evans era. This period of abject failure has left us all devoid of patience, and it would seem that some people are already deciding this manager isn't for us - how stupid would it be to give this manager a few months after allowing him to totally restructure the first team staff and players!!!!!! Get a grip people, it may take a while, but the club is on the up. Get behind it! |

I don't remember anyone at the club stating 'we will get a squad of championship players', and anyone who believes that is in for a shock. We will get a squad of good league 1 players and a few who have the potential to step up over time, but certainly not a whole squad of championship players. |
