Considering the magnitude, significance, was a local derby and we were at home, I thought the performance was poor. There seemed little passion - and quality from Town and they seemed devoid of ideas. If something doesn't work - like hoofing the ball up to Murphy - time and time again, isn't it time to try something different? There was little football, ball to feet, passing from Town whereas Narwich played more on the ground and passing.
We got away with this one, and could have had at least three but for poor heading. Town will need to do better than this next week or it's the Championship again for us next year.

Could have been 3 - 3 at the end but for very poor finishing. Both sides were poor at the front and vunerable at the back. For once, our mid-field stole the show - all though it wasn't much of a show to steal! There is no way this team can survive in the Premiership, if indeed they can manage to get there. So, in fact, the team are playing for their own unemployment! Not much of an incentive.

That's it. Another two points gone at this crutial part of the season. How did Daryl miss that goal? Looks like play-offs at best, but are no longer optimestic.

What has happened to our form? Brilliant up until Christmas but since it has been average at best. Murph is becoming more a passenger since his nose bust-up. He was loosing the ball today and hardly got in to the game at all. Freddie had some efforts in the first half and the rest of the team were very poor quality. Considering this was a so called local derby, the match was very poor. We seem to have hit the wall and at present, on the form we have shown recently, we'll be lucky to make the play-offs.

Good result and an entertaining second half - although ther were long spells of hoof ball with not much skill. Birmingham front two looked pretty good, but Murphy seems affercted by his nose protection mask. Although he worked hard, he did not look as involved as he has been earlier in the season. Fortunately, others in the team scored. Freddie was very effective on the night and look a good signning. Tyrone still looks to have an attitude problem. Is he still reacting to the lack of Premier transfer? Perhaps a few weeks out of the team might get his feet back on the Earth again? Three points is good, and another three on Sunday will be very welcomed. Now who are we playing?

A clear indication of the lack of investment in the team. Why is Darren Bent playing for our rivals! I think Mick has done a fantastic job, but has reached the limit this squad and investment will allow. If we manage to stay in the playoff positions I will be surprised with this level of performance. Terrible game.

No quality, long balls and can't put two passes together. Awful.I thought Derby was the worse, but this was even worserer! How can the whole team play so poorly? One player yes, but the whole team?

A hugely forgettable performance. To pick a man of the match for Town would be very difficult. They all seemed off-par together. Even Berra wasn't his usual rock-solid self - although he did do enough. There was acres of turf in the middle for Derby to play in. Our mid-field was again awful with hoof-ball having to takeover from the usual football we have come to expect from a confident Town. Add to that truly the worse ref we have seen at PR - and - well, I've almost forgotten it already. Derby will obviously be pleased with the gifted win - but then, to be honest, they were little better than Town! Let's move on to next weekend and get the points and performances flowing again. But please Mick, fix that mid-field!

One of the worse performances I,ve seen at Portman Road for some time, but somehow we managed to win. There were times when the team was just not clicking, and in came the ouff ball. The mid-field in particular, known as out weaker team section, was particularly off-colour. That all said, what a year! There's no detracting from the fantastic job Mick and JC are doing. After all those years of frustration, devestation and sheer poor management, how refreshing it is now seeing our team playing so well (normally) and impressively occupying an automatic promotion spot in the Championship! Well done lads, and more importantly, well done Mick and JC. Come on you Blues, in 2015!

The long awaited East Anglian Derby (3 years) returned to Portman Road today with an excitement and anticipation running through the largest crowd (26K) seen at the ground for years. And that's when it started to petter out! There was an acute lack of quality missing from both sides and once the initial few minutes of cut-and-thrust passion had been endured, the game settled down into a mediocre, very ordinary and throughly boring match! OK, Norwich scored what looked to me like a very soft goal - and that was that. Although Norwich looked better in attack, their supporters, once the beating the old rivals euphoria had subsided, must have been disappointed that their team did not score at least three. So, a promising start to the season, beating Fulham at home, has already kindled the old problems again. Played 5, won one, drawn one and lost three. Another year without achieving anything of significance looms unless someone injects some quality into the team.

They looked tired from the third minute. They were outpasses throughout the game by a far better Bournemouth side that were unlucky not to win the game. Every player looked below par - and playing at home with one possible two up front in such an important match - what tactics are they. Time after time it was lob ball to a Bournemouth player or head tennis. When ther ball was on the ground, Bournenouth out passed us and at times had us running round in circle=s like headless chickens. And talking about headless chickens, who ever told Frank Nouble he was a footballer? He was lost from the time he came on as a sub. He didn't seem to know what his instructions were, where he was suppose to play and what he was suppose to do! We showed today why we have no chance in the PREMIER AND NO CHANCE OF GETTING THERE!

Mick was out managed today by McDermott ! In the first half we saw some flowing entertaining football. The Blues were unlucky not to be three up at half time - but then McDermott put markers on our most effective players like Scuse and we were neutralised. Once again the missing elements were exposed. Mid-field - Luke had a poor game and the right combination up front was missing. We need a Mariner type of player, Murphy and Mcgoldrick just will not work!

Low on entertainment, low on quality. Skuse look good and a number of other players put in a shift. 3 points is always welcomed but there's obviously a lot of wok to do before we challenge better teams than Millwall.
