I'm so fed up and disgusted with this club. I have been a supporter since I was 7... Back in 1988... I've supported through thick and thin since then but I'm now done with giving my hard earned cash to Marcus Evans while he has no care about this club. Yes, Lambert is sh*te, but Evans (apart from donating money to keep us afloat) has slowly strangled and asphyxiated this club since he arrived. It's heartbreaking that I feel like I don't support a football team anymore. |

Don't always post on here but wanted to give some credit to certain players that have been given a fair bit of stick in the past.
Firstly Chambers, he has been first class this season... He is far more assured on the ball and I've really enjoyed how he has managed to get forward and support... Some of his passing has been excellent and goals too have shown his real passion for the club, keep it up Luke.
Secondly Toto, last season I felt scared every time he was put under pressure at the back or went for a tackle in the penalty area... This season he's been a real rock at the back, using his strength properly... He's confident and has played some fantastic balls out from the back. Yes he's made a few loose passes but overall he's an integral part of the team at the moment.
Edwards for me has also really come into his own this season, last year he would go missing in games and be muscled off the ball or lose it... This year he's doing what he should be doing, running at teams and shooting!
Really proud of all the boys, they are working together as a coherent team and it really shows. |

Well at town as he is a good leader and we'll respected but as a player he's over the hill. Grow some balls and drop him. Give another senior player the chance to lead and inspire.

Just got home. Have to say I was really impressed with our performance today. Back 4 looked solid and chambers played really well... The whole team exuded confidence and that was evident with some of the ball control and flair. Skuse was excellent in the middle and played some fantastic long balls into space. It's also lovely to have 2 proper strikers, Norwood and Jackson really are starting to click and their partnership for Jackson's goal was great. I took my 3 year old son for his first ever math today, got him his own shirt and was proud to have taken him to that game, something I'd not have done in previous seasons, the atmosphere was awesome and he was actually scared by the noise when we scored, well done all! Top of the league :) |

Just watched the highlights, thought we looked confident and creative on the whole, far better than last season... Need to get in the habit of punishing teams and getting the ball in the net... That aside, Luke Chambers has to take some blame for that awful defending... If one of the youngsters did that I'd perhaps be more understanding but at 33 with countless games under the belt, that's not a mistake you should be making! Just bang it out to safety and get the team behind the ball ffs. |
