His statement was funny (if it was real of course). Even having the gall to whine about the jumbotron camera picking him up without his consent. I hope his wife gleefully takes half of everything he owns…
I have heard (from a guy who knows another guy) that we have offered him a contact but it's shorter than he was hoping for. And usually I know precisely nothing.
How plausible is this really? Brentford are a well established Premier League club not short of a few bob. They even had realistic aspirations for Europe last season. With their team likely to be filleted (ok, Mbeumo may be off at least), are they likely to go for an unproven manager like McKenna? His stock has surely fallen a little since last Summer? Or am I just being blindly optimistic that he’ll stay…?
I don't think Broadhead will go. He's featured a lot lately and in a hugely positive way. MOTM against Fulham, excellent against Chelsea and effective against Brighton (until the entire group seemed to deflate when they scored)
I would be both surprised and disappointed if we lost Broadhead - always equate him with a turnaround in our fortunes with that freekick against Sheff Weds. Plus he has been genuinely impressive and appeared more than comfortable in his PL games lately...
Aside from the Philogene deal - my most pressing question is what the heck is going on with the Debenhams building? Looks like something out of Mad Max around there. Thanks.
