We badly missed Burns and Hirst in that game. We have some great skillful players, but against a back line of 8 cloggers that are winning every header, we needed someone in there to eff them up.
I love McKenna and the way he gets us playing, but in a game like that, and Rotherham (we got lucky), I don't see any plan B, just fresh legs and tonight that was ineffective. |

I has started to reply to a post last night about McKenna not having a plan B, but deleted it as I felt like I was just feeding the troll. Posts like this are far more measured so note to self - don't read the group directly after the match :-)
Totally agree on a striker and we need to be luring Championship strikers to us, or with McKenna's pulling power, a Prem bench warmer? Perhaps that is dream land.
No need for a plan B with 17 shots and 7 on target. We just need someone to find the old onion bag. |
