Thread | Recognition for Town fan at Barnsley match

Hi All,
I don’t usually post about stuff on here but I had an experience with a town fan over the past few days that has really made this season a whole lot better and restored my faith in humanity.
Long story short; I live in Sheffield (unfortunately) so away to Barnsley is almost a home fixture for me, I wasn’t able to get a ticket so I asked on here and someone was able to hook me up with his spare ticket after his son wasn’t able to make the trip.
I met the guy at Oakwell, we chatted all things Ipswich and his experiences of living through the glory years, and obviously a great result to round off the evening.
Today at work id made sure to keep some time free so I could call/text said fan to get his bank details and transfer him over the money, however, he texted me around 1pm today telling me “that one’s on me mate” and saying he was happy the ticket went to a true supporter.
He told me he’d had a great few days seeing old friends up this end of the country and will look out for me at Leeds away next season.
I can’t begin to describe how generous and just how much of a stand out guy this fan was, I’d love to do something for him, whether that’s get him a pint or a scarf at the Exeter game (he’s attending, I’m not).
Is anyone able to help me get in touch with anyone from the club?
I have the fans full name and phone number, I just want to make a small gesture to show my genuine appreciation towards him.
