When will the songs in my head stop?
at 17:20 5 May 2024

I'm driving my wife up the wall with the constant singing but I'm completely unable to stop. I've warned her this may last a while yet.

Would Leicester have been better off sttling for a points deduction this year?
at 17:13 5 May 2024

We are Champions morally for sure. Imagine breaking all the financial rules, being awarded 13 penalties to your main challengers 3 and then complaining these challengers are the lucky ones!! Absolutely bonkers. And they finished one point above us!!

What are Blue Action doing?

The only thing I can say to those that disagree with it is to just see clapping the coach into the stadium as the same as clapping the players onto the pitch because that's all it is. It obviously wouldn't be going ahead without getting the nod from the club.

I find it strange that this simple and obvious point has to be explained again.

In the Ashton and McKenna interview the club put out a while ago KM brought up the coach welcome against Norwich without being asked about it, saying it was another great bonding moment between the team and the fans.

Why are supporters being supportive? Yes, wouldn't it be better if nobody came to watch at all? Certainly hope nobody turns up wearing a replica shirt or an ITFC scarf.

Couldn't be prouder of the team
at 12:18 28 Apr 2024

I think what I'm most proud of is that we're doing things properly, with integrity. In modern football it's a bit like taking a peashooter to a gunfight and somehow still winning. Not breaking all the financial rules, not being funded by dodgy money, not coaching our players to throw themselves to the floor every time there's contact in the box. Of course, if we go up next season we'll struggle to compete with teams and get patronised over and over again by pundits that overlook all the above...

We’re Cov today I presume?

Such patronising comments from Dixon. Man U score a deflected goal and it's, you can see the extra quality, he gets lucky with the finish but... Coventry score a deflected goal and it's , that could've gone anywhere but you'll take it

I just have a nagging doubt that we’ve drawn too many games this season
at 20:19 14 Apr 2024

Every fan of every club has nagging doubts about every point they've dropped until they actually win something. We've 'gone for it' all season.

If they win all their games that's defeats for Leeds and Leicester!

Middlesbrough thoughts
at 07:41 14 Apr 2024

I think the attitude shown by both Watford and Middlesbrough shows how good we are and how well respected in the game we are. I wish some of our fans could see it. Really good Championship teams are unwilling to get into a full on footballing battle because they fear they would lose.

We've been closer to winning than losing both games. Of course two draws is very frustrating but it's the same for Leeds and Leicester. It's very very tense for all of us. All the success we've had has come from doing the right things over and over again, knowing that it won't always get you the result in the short term but sticking to the method will pay off in the long run.

This is regression to the mean, isn't it?
at 20:44 13 Apr 2024

I think this is a very good point. Looking at the stats from this weekend's matches we had 21 shots, Leeds 19 and Leicester 17. A total of 57 shots produced 1 goal. We all had more possession and a higher xG than our opponents. These are exactly the sort of figures that have been produced all season but the rub of the green hasn't been there.

Goal...yes or no?
at 11:02 7 Apr 2024

Truly bizarre from Lineker and Wright there. They quote the law and then show a perfect example of a player blocking the keepers line of vision but they think it's the wrong decision. It couldn't be more obvious why it was disallowed.

Martin also saying the ref gave them nothing
at 07:25 2 Apr 2024

Absolutely music to my ears to hear it's hard for refs with the crowd we've got.

To be fair to Martin he's probably out of a job if they don't go up and they played well but lost in the last minute so he's a bit emotional at that point. To suggest the ref was against them is laughable though.

I've been going to Portman Road since 2002
at 07:05 2 Apr 2024

I came out of the ground and my ears were ringing, my voice had gone. Everyone else was the same. The crowd were a part of what got us the win without doubt. There was something in the air. So great to see Portman Road going absolutely bonkers.

Anywhere I can get stats on the distance of our goals/shots?
at 10:28 3 Mar 2024

Chaplin's average may be skewed by several attempts to lob the keeper from around the halfway line. His more 'normal' (or median average) shooting distance is shorter than 19 yards I would imagine. But, does it really matter? A goal is a goal. Good to keep the opposition guessing by having a number of different strategies.

Might head over to the Leicester forum for a laugh

It does demonstrate the dangers of raised expectations. In many ways battling it out for promotion with us, Leeds and Southampton is exactly where Leicester should be but the fans have been spoiled by success.

Yep, it wasn't always pretty but we gradually took control and dug out a deserved victory on the road. Got to love this team.
