Jewell Left Feeling Sick After Second Late Defeat
at 10:15:51

I don't know how many of the people that post on this forum are genuine supporters, personally I've only been to Portman Road the once, being a Somerset boy. I've always been a big fan though, and it seems pretty stupid to be asking for the managers head less than halfway into his first season. I watch the highlights, and read a lot of the reports, and it doesn't often seem like we deserve to lose, apart from the Portsmouth game (where we got 3 points). Just look at what happened to Sheffield Utd, a club of similar size to ours, with the same quality of players, sacked there manager every half season and went down. It never works, no matter who you are, looking for first season success. We need a manager for at least 2-3 seasons, allow a clear philosophy to grow, then if it hasn't worked, and he's had backing then let him go, but not before he's had a fair crack. A lot of genuine supporters may be here, but with a distinct lack of football knowledge.

Preston: We Want to Keep Treacy
at 21:05:25

PNE are a bigger club than Ipswich? Yeah alright then, and what exactly is that assessment based on? Being linked with everyone under the sun is annoying, but I like Treacy, good intelligent and creative attacking player. £1 million or just under is a good but for a young player, we need to start building, a couple of players of the same calibre would do nicely, that said I'm not expecting much better than top half finish. Wish people would shut up about clegg, just throwing money at players wont help a promotion push, just make us an attractive option for over the hill players wanting a final pay day.

Keane: Forest Defeat Much Like Watford
at 16:57:01

My first post on the site, town fan for 14 years, but only been to portman road the once so not a hardcore supporter! Why so many loan midfielders is my concern. Why aren't we pushing through our own youth, this club has a great history of doing that. Or buying permenant additions to the squad for the long term. Hyam holding, norris and leadbitter infront, walters and edwards supproting priskin. Thats how we started the season. I was looking back at the old posts, and everyone seemed to agree after the first few games an attacking 4-3-3 was good football and getting results. Then we got in livermore and colback, both good players, but there's nothing to build on there, isn't colback only here till christmas? Keane said before the first game, sigings hadn't gone the way he wanted, but we had good honest youngsters at the club he had faith in. I know the boo boys always surface after a couple of bad results, and whatever happens I think keane should be here till the end of the season, but it doesn't seem to be going anywhere. I'd rather see the players we have here already given a chance. Hyam, smith, and obviously wickham, can any club boast so much talent coming through this year. I mean Wickham is actually consdiered the best english prospect alongside rodwell to be in a 3 lions shirt in a few years. I like keane, I hope he turns it round, but even if he doesn't, keep pushing through the youth and bring in the odd permenant player, forget the loans unless its genuine star quality like gio. We've got the foundations, I think the loans are trying to rush things a bit, Evans has the money to keep players like Wickham etc at the club, so why aren't we going back to basics and giving it some time to work out. Rome wasn't built in a day and all
