A mystery is why the BBC employ someone who describes the game as scrappy'.
Looking at the amount of space taken up by 'journalists', l can't help but feel that much of that space should go to fans. At least they have the ability to know what's going on. |

As ever, an excellent summary of the game by Phil Ham. The majority of the comments on this forum also accurately summed up things.
Who on earth do the BBC employ to make match reports though. According to their reporter, it was a 'scrappy' game.
I hope that this individual hasn't taken up one of the many spaces set aside for 'reporters' that would be better used by paying supporters who have a better knowledge of the game. |

Norfolk bluey... l agree with your post. I was just speculating that maybe we should relocate to the Scottish Highland league to improve our chances of a win😎. Look at the table ..Lossiemouth don't even have the worst goal difference. 'Always look on the bright side of life' and all that.😠|

It would be great to see a good crowd turn up to give support. It would give the players a boost and hopefully a chance to get a glimpse of those coming through the ranks. As wisely stated on this forum as well in the club's mission statement a club like Ipswich needs to rely on talent brought through the system. Put the date in your diary and go down with a few mates. |

Another devil's advocate here. Yes we were poor, really poor but Burton played relatively well. Bru played well and competed aerially and was the right sub at the time. Celina managed to have manager and fans with their heads in their hands prior to his goal so maybe isn't the man for such games from the start. McCarthy needs to somehow stop going to war with the local press. As usual, his comments may need reading in entirety rather than cherry picking; understandable though it is. |
