 | News Comment | O'Shea: I'm Fully Committed to Town at the Moment at 11:52:23
so I'm fully committed for one more week. I'm not gonna lose any sleep if he goes because he is not prem league quality but if he does goes I just hope its not below 20m with add on and sells ons on top of that. Him and Greaves should shine in the championship so please only let him go if we make a quick buck on him |

spot on Danny. nothing in the boxing says ref has to count to 10 as he can deem the guy unable to defend himself and as you rightly say the ref has a duty of care to protect both fighters |
 | News Comment | Brentford Linked With McKenna Move Should Frank Depart For Spurs at 15:11:37
McKenna has produced a fantastic season getting us out of the Championship but last season he was bang average. He played Hutchinson way too much and he has overplayed Morsy in all 3 seasons he has been here. Why so many of our fans think he is a genius is beyond me. Name me one player who improved under him last season ? A few went backwards but not a single player improved. Even Delap had a much better first half of the season before a less impressive 2nd half. We will be favourites for the title with or without him so I'm not that bothered whether he stays or goes. We are told he is the 6th highest paid manager in the Prem so who says Brentford can even afford him. Most likely he stays, wins the title and then gets a chance to recruit better and learn from previous mistakes as on balance I think both parties could benefit by staying loyal to each other. |
 | News Comment | Delap's Chelsea Move Confirmed at 21:26:01
Why did we showcase a player for such a small amount of profit ? so what if he signed for Southampton. Cracking player signed on a naff contract. Come on Ashton you can do better than this |
 | News Comment | Morsy: I Don't Think It's Momentum at 13:34:14
Morsy a £500k player who needs replacing asap. Completely over played by McKenna and made too many mistakes last season which led to goals against. Too slow in thought and pace. supposedly the leader of a group with great team spirit but making bitchy comments about O'Shea not winning any games. He is about as dynamic as the Sam Morsy song. Centre midfield is our biggest recruitment priority |
 | News Comment | Chaplin: The Club is in a Much Better Place Than it Was a Year Ago at 17:25:39
very interesting contribution @,darkhorse and nice to read comments that are balanced beyond KM is best Ipswich manager ever. I've been saying it all season but recruitment was a mixed bag and this summer we must do a beter job. Central midfield is the priority even in front if a Delap replacement. we need two good athletes to jump ahead of Morsy who has given away a ton of goals and failed to protect the 2 CBs all season. KM will hopefully stay and will hopefully show less bias towards Morsy and Hutchinson both of whom were given far more minutes than their performances deserved. We are favourites for promotion for a reason and promotion will only require a par performance but prep for the next visit to the Prem starts now. |
 | News Comment | Leicester City 2-0 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 17:15:10
McKenna has given Omari far more pitch minutes than his performances have deserved and that has been one of a few things that show KM is not the genius many believe him to be |
 | News Comment | Four Changes For Town at Leicester at 14:36:39
how does Hirst get nod over Delap but Chaplin doesn't get nod over enciso ? yeah go for our strongest team or look towards next deason. I'd go with either. but it's neither. a whole season of muddled thinking from mckenna |
 | News Comment | Everton 2-2 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 17:44:16
All season long it has been tough for whoever was selected in the front 3 as they have all been feeding off scraps. Enciso has shown Omari what is possible if you have the right attitude. We'll come straight back but we'll need spend another 100m to have any chance of staying up. |
 | News Comment | Hirst: Unity and Togetherness Will Stand Us in Good Stead Next Season at 18:19:47
Lee James don't let the keyboard warriors get to you. Other than Delap and O'Shea who else has performed consistently well this season ? Player recruitment didn't go well last season. McKenna didn't perform well either. I always thought buying the young players we did shouted double bounce strategy which could prove really very clever if we go straight back up but if we don't then McKenna will go and so will most of the young talent. Keep posting your ideas Lee as they are as valid ss anyone elses. Its a discussion board not the echo chamber may on here want it to be |
 | Blog Comment | Assets, Chasms and Withering Patterns at 17:58:00
nice work, thank you for p utting it out there. McKenna has fallen short and without the Delap goals we would probably be below Southampton giving a truer reflection of McKenna's performance this season. Most likely we will start as favourites for the title so anything less will be yet another below par season for McKenna with only the championship season being above par expectations!. Ashton will rightly give him time next season but if we slip out of the top 2 then all bets are off. |
 | News Comment | McKenna: We Were at Full Stretch Even Before Red Card at 18:10:56
McKenna completely overrated by the majority on here. He has produced a par performance this season and has hopefully learned enough to bring us straight back up. No shame in losing to Arsenal but the Southampton home game was a real low and was of course a must win game regardless of McKenna refusing to recognise that. I don't care if he stays or goes but would be relaxed if the owners stuck with him |
 | News Comment | Chelsea 2-2 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 16:33:22
if taking Davis off was tactical then well done McKenna. Shame Morsy so slow in closing down Sancho for goal. Johnson playing so much better recently than in in the first half of the season |

no doubt Aston has offered a new contract but maybe he has his mind made up on a move to someone like Utd |
 | News Comment | McKenna: More Than Likely Town Will Be in the Championship Next Season at 19:47:30
so many posters on here were building a statue for McKenna within a couple of months of him arriving. his first 6 months he couldn't lift us even 1 place up div 3 table. season 2 he couldn't lift us above a very average Plymouth team despite getting heavy support from the owners. last season I thought was a fantastic achievement to be fair but this season he has produced another par performance. I really hope he can deliver the championship title next season but that won't ever be ready for the prem if he continues to play Morsy & Hutchinson every week despite them being 2 of our poorest performers. I hope he has leaned from the numerous mistakes he has made this season but I'm not holding my breath. |
 | News Comment | McKenna: We've Managed and Played the Second Half Really Poorly at 23:24:58
The fawning over McKenna on here has been embarrassing since day 1. That said I'm delighted to hear him finally speak honestly and admit the 2nd half was dire. Hopefully at least some of the McKenna fan club will also be honest enough to admit this season has been full of mistakes and under performance. Morsy and Hutchinson have been way off and McKenna himself has not been brave enough to drop them. Relegation beckons and McKenna is to blame. He needs to learn if we are to return stronger and better than the current version. Future recruitment needs massive improvement and under performing players like Hutchinson and Morsy must be given less pitch time if results are to improve |
