| News Comment | Chaplin: We've Added Quality But Also the Right Characters at 10:03:16
Well said @algarve. Chappers has contributed more goals and assists than anyone to get us promoted and he does a lot of community work. So much credit to him for being so positive about the competition for places. I can't wait to see him score his first premier league goal |
| News Comment | Ipswich Town 1-1 Fulham - Match Report at 17:09:55
Delap will be calming a few of those concerned by the lack of a number 9 signing. My MoM today. Greaves continues to impress. Tidy cameo from Cajuste |
| News Comment | Town's Broja Deal Off at 15:41:24
None of the players in this article seem a step above Delap and Hurst so I'm pleased none are going to progress. Hopefully a more exciting number 9 than these guys will emerge |
| News Comment | Town Winning Race For O'Shea at 11:48:25
In fairness to the club goal scorers are the most difficult deals to get over the line. Maybe Everton are turning his head ? |
| News Comment | Broja Set For Medical at 10:32:19
Broja in and Ladapo out I guess. Surely the squad just got stronger which is what all managers want. |
| News Comment | Phillips at Playford Road at 19:47:41
Could easily have more impact for us than Ross Berkeley dud for Luton. Could also make us look more attractive to potential new signings |
| News Comment | McKenna's New Deal Finally Confirmed at 18:08:28
Great news but we do have to mentally prepare ourselves for his departure and no complaints from me if he keeps us up for one season and then goes for champs league footy. If he had left this summer I think it might of condemned us to a bottom 3 finish. |
| News Comment | McKenna Contract Confirmation Now Expected Wednesday at 19:23:30
I've never put zKM on the same pedestal as the statue builders but hi is the best manager we could have for next season without any doubt. I also bet he was far more interested in the size of the ear chest as opposed to the size of his own contract. This is a real confidence boost for the club that even natural sceptics like me canny deny |
| News Comment | McKenna Expected to Stay at Town at 21:03:50
This is really good news which will be welcomed by ALL town supporters. Hopefully now we can stop tearing lumps out of each other on here as all the toxic name calling ain't great. Personally I laugh my socks off whenever I read a post on here that starts with "Any true fan......." What are you aged 10 or something. All opinions are valid in here and all will now get behind KM and the team. See |
| News Comment | Chelsea Look Away From McKenna at 11:55:35
There is a real irony about the fact us fans have been told that a key part of the transfer policy is only to pursue players that want to be part of of the Town project, the KM project but TWTD have now reported KMs representatives have had talks with West Ham, Crystal Palace, Brighton, Chelsea and Man Utd. Let's remember that the only thing he was won at Ipswich is personal accolades and meanwhile the winner of the playoffs will leap from us in transfer readiness for next season as surely most of our targets won't be willing to commit until the manager situation is resolved. |
| News Comment | McKenna Among Chelsea's Top Targets at 13:41:32
He is still behind Burley in the legend stakes and will stay there unless he gives us a minimum of one season in the prem |
| News Comment | McKenna Among Chelsea's Top Targets at 08:31:02
For Utd he could be their next Alex Ferguson and be there for a couple of decades. Are INEOS clever enough to see the potential? Utd is too big to turn down and after TH is a great time to take the job. We'll know more after the Cup Final but hopefully they prefer the experience of Poch |
| News Comment | Morsy Voted PFA Championship Fans’ Player of the Year at 18:38:01
I voted for Davis but chuffed for Sam. He is a better player this year than last when he picked up too many bookings with many of them preventable. So nice for him and Chaplin who both played in sides that flirted with promotion to get bigger roles and more pitch time at PR and now will finally get their chances in the Prem. It's been a surprise that Sam missed out on this sort of recognition almost through the whole of our league 1 season but restores my father in the football family that fans of other clubs have given him the credit he deserves in good enough numbers to end up in pole position. He won't look out of place in the Prem |
