As a proud member of ITFC Sweden, I really hope we can maintain and develop these international ties and spread our good name across Europe. Välkomna Fortuna fans! |

Wow! The extent of the work going on is nothing short of mind-blowing. Let's hope we can reciprocate all this positivity on the pitch. I have great hopes that we will. |

I hope we make our Fortuna friends welcome (other than on the pitch, of course). |

OH! Ah well, if "Clarke is just one of a number of left-sided forwards on Town’s list of potential recruits", then maybe we can expect some more developments soon. In Kieran and the ITFC set-up we trust. COYB! |

Facefacts: I think you are being a little bit harsh considering this was the players' first proper outing together against a team of players that are certainly no mugs and who were already into their 6th pre-season match. Of course, we were not perfect, but I think the positives definitely outweighed any negatives, and some players who I thought might not get a look-in at PL level actually surprised me (Edmunson, for example). I agree that the S D players seem to have it in their DNA, just like the PL teams, to fall over at every available opportunity and buy a free kick or manufacture a yellow for the opposing player. And this was only a friendly, so the result hardly mattered! But I think that is something we will have to live with, and sadly I doubt whether our own players will be any better in this regard. We can go long way with K McK's organisation and our team spirit, which is why I am perhaps a bit more optimistic than you about our forthcoming season. |

Very pleasantly surprised by our performance. We looked sharp and very well organised. Everyone stepped up to the plate - old Championship and L1 players, young players from our own ranks, as well as new recruits. And we still have Tuanzebe, Omari and others to come. Bring on the Premier League! |

Good luck, Vaz. Bided his time as second to Walton, but then made himself more or less undroppable, with a great attitude. Burnley may well sell Trafford, in which case I expect Vaz to be no. 1. If Trafford stays, Vaz could still be no. 1 - it might take a little longer, but history may well repeat itself. |

Can't win 'em all, and it looks as if we have lost this one, which is a pity. But hopefully, there is a Plan B. Our other three signings (or soon to be so), Greaves, Johnson, and Delap look good business. Probably more to come that we haven't heard about, so let's not be negative. |

blues1: I can't pretend to understand anything about this saga, but I think you might be right. He is still on Hull's books as it stands, so it may be they just told him he was to be included in the Turkey trip. Maybe he didn't really have a choice. But there could be more sinister wheeling and dealing that I am unaware of. |

I have a feeling the pantomime is now drawing to a close and we will have the final curtain fairly soon. Let's hope the audience is able to give it a standing ovation. |

Olise is now confirmed for Bayern M. Hope this doesn't scupper the second half of this important deal with Hull. Still hopeful we will get both players. |

The shirt question is not of major importance for me as I don't have 60 quid to chuck away on something I don't really need (as I already have a good selection of shirts from previous years). But if I may add my opinion: The home shirt is ok (3/5), but I agree the trims should be white; where are the three stars?; I'm not a fan of pinstripes; and it looks quite a tailored fit - might prove a bit of a squeeze for some of the more portly stomachs that grace Portman Road. As regards the away shirt, again it's a 3/5 - quite stylish but a bit dull and no solution when we play another team in blue (so why don't they make the away shirt a radically different alternative colour?) Anyway, this question is always going to divide fans, and the main issue is what happens on the pitch, not in the fashion rooms. And yes, look at the Budgie alternatives above and be very, very grateful!!! |

Of the two players in question, this lad is by far the most important for me. We may well get Greaves, and great if we do, but if not then there will be other options. I'm not so sure there are many other options for Philogene. He seems like just the kind of talent we want and that Kieran can develop further. Not counting any chickens yet, but definitely all fingers crossed. |

We have Kieran and Mark Ashton; the others don't. That's quite a plus for us. I trust them to put forward a persuasive proposal. Hope we can get this deal over the line. |
