Maybe time for 4-4-2 now. Take out Clarke for Hirst, and also Morsy for Phillips. Hutch and Philo on flanks. |

Have they showed any evidence to suggest Son was onside for both goals. Looked very tight on both. I had to go out at halftime so might have missed if so.
Anyhow, a good start on second half and we have every chance for points tonight!! |

Today feels a bit like last game against Brighton. We are meeting City just as they seem to be coming out of a stretch of poor performances and results (still voulnearable). It was the same against Brighton. To be able to get something from this game and profit on their voulnerability we have to be more aggressive and intense. We can absolutely fall back in a tight block like we have done recently but as they come in to our half we have to be more aggressive and not let them dictate the play they want. We need to force them into making mistakes and counter when oppurtunities arise - we can learn a bit from how Forest play.
This can go both ways... Let's hope for our boys to be up for it and come out on top!!

I love what he brings to the team, and am a strong believer in his forward runs, wand of a left foot. He is extremely important to our team. As I have said, it is the decision making this time. It is more important to protect the lead in the last few minutes then to go full attack to score a third goal. Let's leave it with this. We have different opinions about the move. I like Leif and what he does for our team a lot. |

Well, that is part of the problem, if someone else have to leave their position to cover up for someone else. I dont think we should be playing 1 vs 1 in defence in the dying seconds unless it is for covering up for someones misstake |

It is OK to have different opinions about this one. I understand the move, and what he creates with it. It is the timing of it that annoys me, because he leaves the space behind him wide open, when we just have to stay behind the ball, make it tight and hard for Fulham to create anything. If we get a break fine, but do not engage half the team in the attack. To me that is understanding the game. But I am Ok with people having different views. |

I understand why he did it, but it is still bad judgement in that situation. Defend the lead when it it a few minutes left. OK to attack with 2 players, maybe 3. Not 5 |

I agree, felt sorry for him. He would have needed that goal. BUT what I dont understand is why we were attacking with 5 players in that move. Why did Leif come on an overlap, when we just needed to defend our lead for the 5 minutes left. Bad judgement. |

I agree with this beeing a weakness of Muric. From my perspective, what makes Muric look nervous is partly that he invites pressure from the forward. Walton seemed to make his mind up early and made the pass well in time before the Chelsea forward came close to him. Muric on the other hand seem to wait and wait with his decision making and the forward gets closer and closer as well as the alternatives for Muric gets less and less, and then it all ends with him passing it in the last split second before lit is too late. Often resulting in him almost panicking resulting in a pass of quite poor quality. It might be that this is his instruction to invite pressure as late as possible, but i dont think Muric likes it, not comfortibel with it, makes him nervous, which transponds ro the rest of the team. |

What a lovely win. Great team effort. So happy.
Have to say. My oldest son is a Chelsea fan, we watched it together by the TV. As the game started he said. Tonight I want Ipswich to win. Chelsea wont win the title and i rather Ipswich stay up. There is some hope for him as well!! :) |
