Does make you wonder what could've been if Evans held out for a bit more or tried to keep hold of the players for a while; Clarke, valued by us at 150k (correct me if wrong) sold by Pompey for a lot more than that, same with Moore, Webster for an initial fee of 3.5m, sold a year later for 20m, Evans is clearly so out of touch with the game he doesn't understand values of players, as shown with his 5m valuation of Dozzell who should be worth 10m+ taking potential into consideration |

Foolish to let him go. Firstly, I can't imagine he's amongst the highest earners therefore it's not like him staying will eat up finances. Secondly, he's only 23, he has plenty of years ahead of him providing he can be brought back to fitness, which he was for a decent period up until now. Let the 3 months pass, see how his season goes; for all we know he could prove to be one of our key players upon his return considering the clear talent he posseses |

Makes no sense why he wouldn't sign a contract.
Likely to get more development opportunity given the clubs track record of giving young players chances, and should perhaps show a bit more loyalty to the club that gave him a chance as a 12 year old and have helped his development since then |

Not sure about this but I feel like Lambert will make the right decision in regards to whether they're good enough or not. Webber I can't see getting game time with the talented defenders we have but McKendry could perhaps do a job, although without seeing him in the first team I couldn't judge |
