That’s just not how his minutes played went last season, although many people repeat it. Second half of the season, after we managed him through his injury, he regularly played well beyond 60 minutes and the full 90 on several occasions. In fact his total minutes played for the season was way up the list. Stats have been posted a couple of times to correct this misconception. We did an excellent job of getting him fit. |

With Walton picking up an injury, and Muric carrying an injury towards the end of the January window, maybe that had a little more to do with it, don’t you think? |

To answer your musings …. Too many pr1cks that claim to be fans don’t consider the potential consequences of their action : - Hackney doesn’t join us because he reads how our fans treat an out-of-favour player - we make a massive loss on Muric because the club feels compelled to allow him to leave on a free - Jaden never fulfills his potential due to confidence after the constant claims ‘he never wanted to join’ - Hutch leaves, despite the club’s efforts to retain him, due to seeing his teammates being hounded Actions do have consequences, but those fans with Neanderthal tendencies don’t tend to recognise this. |

There is no risk to the ‘book’ right now. We’ll be ok for this year without needed more big ticket sales. He only goes if the offer is too good to refuse, and he wants to leave. For all we know, he said ‘get Hackney and I’m in for at least another year’ |

This is the primary reason Muric will not play for us again. Anyone exhibiting such juvenile behaviour is not supporting the team, but undermining it. |

Did you get a code? Are you sure you used it as a subscription code, not a match pass code? It was an easy mistake to make - I did it wrong initially. |

It’s not entirely unreasonable to take what someone says as they write it though, is it. We have 5 weeks left of the window, and I’m pretty confident we’re not working on one target at a time. I’d understand your comments if there were only 2 weeks left, but we’re far from that right now. |
 | Forum Reply | Leicester points deduction.... at 21:00 26 Jul 2025
Yes, the 2nd is probably due around December. [Yeah, yeah - I know you are being facetious, but by accident you’re not far wrong] This is what I posted a month ago : Danny Rohl about to leave Binfire Wednesday. by SuffolkPunchFC 26 Jun 22:38For the first charge, they were referred to the independent commission mid-May, on the fast track procedure which still takes around 12 weeks. So it will be mid-August when that concludes.
The 2nd case is a little behind that. There is potential that they get a first punishment in August, and a 2nd around Christmas. There is some significant jeopardy in their season. And a month earlier : Leicester looking at a minimum 12 point deduction ... by SuffolkPunchFC 21 May 11:38Given how early this process is beginning (and there has already been a lot going on in the background with the pending non-compliance investigation), I think there is a very good chance that the case will processed quickly, leaving a lot of time to also conclude the appeal.
Leicester gave the EFL a bloody-nose, and they want to make an example of them imo. Within the rules ofc, but I'm sure (given the history) that they will be very careful to ensure a very strong case is in place. I still stand by this assessment - time will tell, and we should know about the first charge in about a month. |

Don't opta measure performance over 5 years though? And Aberdeen were pants until recently - last season their early form was outstanding. Also highlights why we're so far behind Sheffield United for example - we were still so poor 4 & 5 years ago. So, as you say, these stats (and don't get me wrong - I'm a big believer is stats) are likely distorted by a recent, significant upturn. You get a better picture if you've been tracking the SPL in recent seasons. |

Thank you, and good luck for the season. I remember the Ferguson Dons fondly. |

The same Celtic that pushed Bayern Munich close over 2 legs last season? I agree that Celtic & Rangers don’t deserve an automatic place in the PL on merit (which is what was in discussion a few years ago), but to argue they are ‘mid-championship at best is way off the mark imo. |
 | Forum Reply | How much will Omari be missed at 23:54 25 Jul 2025
No doubt - as he’s had 2 seasons under KmK. This coming season however, I believe Philogene can be as good as Hutch was during our Championship season. |

Bit disingenuous. They were pretty solid first part of last season, but then went to pieces during the middle, and picked up a bit again towards the end. That mid season ruined their season, but they beat Rangers once, and beat plus drew with Celtic once for each. Not top Championship, but neither are they as low as a (typical) top L1 side. |

Hutch is a cheat code for the Championship, if we by some miracle keep him, but if we don’t we’ll still be a (the?) top championship team. Missed - yes. Catastrophic for promotion chances - no. |

Did you choose Match Passes rather than Subscriptions? I did initially, which caused it to be rejected. |
